About JetPrivilege Validity of JPMiles Like most other loyalty programmes world-wide, JPMiles cannot be held indefinitely by a member. JPMiles are valid for redempti up to the end of the thirteenth quarter from the quarter in which they were earned. For example, JPMiles earned in the 1st quarter of 2012 (January-March 2012) will expire the last day of the 1st quarter of 2015 (i.e. March 31, 2015). JPMiles that are not redeemed before expiry, will lapse. JPMiles will not lapse for JetPrivilege Platinum members. Any unredeemed JPMiles that are due to expire at the end of the said quarter will be extended to the next quarter. Note: JPMiles transferred through the Transfer JPMiles facility will have a validity of 12 mths from the date of transfer irrespective of the original validity prior to transfer. They will expire next year, at the end of the quarter in which they were transferred.
