Acceptance (2-3 days) Confirmation of acceptance or non acceptance Not accepted Put on waiting list Re-assess once there s vacancy Refer to other agency to attend programmes Accepted GRSI will send a letter of acceptance GRSI will advise referring agency/client to book for detoxification. Referring agency to arrange detoxification for the client and advise GRSI of the date of client discharge. GRSI will organise pick up Risk Assessment and Management Admission (7-10 days from acceptance) To provide client with Information Handbook/House Rules and Programme timetable Urine test/breath analyser Thorough search of belongings including body search (when appropriate and consent made). Random search is done at least once a week and Urine test once or twice a week. All staff to be informed of the new admission and welcome new residents Medical check up/centrelink medical certificate and Centre pay forms to be forwarded to Centrelink. If not on Centrelink benefit, client to be taken to Centrelink office to complete forms on admission Induction Orientation/Show house Staff to go through the Handbook Meet and greet with other residents
Follow up Centrelink, Appointments with GP/pharmacy, counselling Case Management and case plan to include transition plan or outreach and encourage family therapy Graduation Resident completed 13 weeks Rehabilitation treatment successfully. Client to re submit Centrelink medical certificate and Centre pay Transitional stage Exit plan: Post treatment support plan 12 months stay at GRSI transitional houses (random search and urine test, group theory work, counselling, support (job application and life skills) Go back Community/Family Support available(out care service) Encourage to attend programme at GRSI

CANNABIS INTERVENTION SESSIONS Referr Individual is issued with a CIR Notice and required to complete a mandatory session within given time frame Client contacts GRSI Book suitable appointment Contact CIS Booking Service to advise Client contacts booking service (ph: 1800 722 362) Booking service fax details of scheduled appointment Once session occurs client is issued with completion notice and DAO are notified and invoiced If a session doesn t occur within the time frame specified, GRSI to notify CIS Booking Service of non-attendance and a court summons is issued to the client
