Public and Human Services Programs The Public and Human Services program enables students to participate as a full team member, maintain currency in the rapidly changing field of health and human services, and advance in this field over time. Health and human services theory, policy, and practice are embedded in the Public and Human Services program. Students gain valuable up-to-date knowledge while obtaining critical on-the-job experience. They have the option of completing the minimum requirements to receive a Certificate of Achievement or complete both the minimum requirements and general education requirements to obtain an Associate in Arts Degree.
