Harriet Velázquez, MLIS Harriet Velazquez is a facilitator, negotiation coach and mediator focused on the need of organizations to achieve the maximum value from their partnerships, often working for both parties in an alliance, joint venture, or public/private partnership. Prior to starting her own consulting company, Ms. Velazquez was President of INTRIA Corporation, and SVP, Operations and Technology for CIBC. Prior to joining CIBC, Ms. Velazquez held senior IT positions, including Chief Information Officer for Thompson Newspaper Corporation and the Ontario Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations, and SVP of the Library Services Division of GEAC Computer Corporation. Ms. Velazquez began her career in marketing and sales with two pioneering Canadian firms in information publishing, Southam Business Information and Communications Group, and at Thomson Corporation where she was an executive with UTLAS International. Ms. Velazquez holds a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Binghamton University.

Marli Ramsey, MBA, CMC _experience the commitment TM _experience the commitment Marli Ramsey is an Executive Consultant in CGI s Management Consulting practice, in the area of business transformation. Her career as a management consultant began more than 20 years ago in organisational development and culture change, and expanded into organisational effectiveness, strategy and feasibility analysis, business process reengineering, and pre-merger integration planning. Marli has worked in large, global consulting organisations, as well as smaller firms, and as an independent consultant. Over the course of her career, she has had the good fortune to collaborate with clients in a variety of industries, including primary resources, professional services, financial services, and all levels of government. Marli holds a B.Sc. and MBA from Dalhousie University, and is a Certified Management Consultant. Marli worked with the CMC-Ontario s Ontario Government Liaison Committee to prepare its submission to the Ministry of Government Service s An Invitation to Inform the Modernization of Ontario s Consulting Services Vendor of Record Program, and prepared CGI s submission.
Michael Erdle, C.Arb., Q.Med. Michael Erdle is a Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb.) and Qualified Mediator (Q.Med.), with a focus on the resolution of technology and intellectual property disputes. Michael is a founding partner of Deeth Williams Wall LLP and he was managing partner from 2001 to 2009. He has practiced information technology and intellectual property law for more than 20 years. His areas of expertise include Internet; electronic commerce; patents, trademarks and copyright; technology development and licensing; joint ventures; outsourcing; and dispute resolution. Michael has been recognized by Lexpert Canadian Legal Directory as one of Canada s leading IT lawyers. He is a member of the board of directors of the Canadian IT Law Association and the ADR Institute of Ontario. He is the co-chair of ADRIO s Technology and Intellectual Property Section. Michael is a Past-President of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and a member of the IPIC ADR committee. He is also a member of the Technology and E-Commerce Section and the ADR Section of the Ontario Bar Association. He is a member of the Toronto Computer Lawyers Group, International Technology Law Association and Licensing Executives Society. Michael is a registered Trademark Agent. He has written and spoken widely on information technology and intellectual property law, including dispute resolution. He has lectured on at Osgoode Hall Law School and McGill University.
Richard Austin, LLB Richard practices corporate and commercial law at Austin Technology Law with a focus on information technology and business process outsourcing, applications development and systems implementation projects. Prior to returning to private practice, Richard was General Counsel at EDS Canada for 18 years where he headed a team of lawyers and contract professionals with responsibility for the legal aspects of EDS business in Canada. Richard s responsibilities at EDS Canada included providing strategic advice on and negotiating IT and business process outsourcing transactions with public and private sector entities. Richard is a frequent speaker on technology law issues including on outsourcing, privacy, cloud computing, social media and software development. He is a former Director and President of the Canadian IT Law Association.
