Excellence in Christian Higher Education Founded 1999 American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary Dear Prospective Student, Warmest greetings to you in the name of our Lord, Jesus and welcome to the American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary! The American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary (AEBC) is an independent study institution of Christian higher learning, based on fundamental Biblical principles. Our mission is to help you become professionally trained and equipped to better serve our Lord and to minister to the needs of His people. It is expected that your desire is to know our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately so that you may follow Him more closely and serve Him more faithfully. 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us, Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Articles of Faith The American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary is a wholly owned and operated Christian educational ministry of the American Evangelical Christian Churches (an internationally recognized Christian denomination); and therefore subscribes to the same Articles of Faith: 1. The Holy Bible as the infallible, written Word of God. 2. The God of Creation Whom manifests Himself in three personalities: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3. The virgin birth of Jesus, the Christ. 4. The Deity of Jesus, the Christ. 5. The salvation of sinners by faith through the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus, the Christ. 6. The guidance of our lives through prayer to the Father, through Jesus, the Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. 7. The visible return and eternal reign of the Savior, Jesus, the Christ. AEBC Structure The American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary is neither a professional school nor a college of liberal arts. It is an independent Christian Bible college based upon fundamental Biblical principles. Strictly interdenominational, the AEBC strives to be evangelical in character. Ministers, Chaplains, Christian Workers, Religious Education Directors, Teachers, Missionaries, Worship Leaders and Youth Ministers from many denominational backgrounds have found the academic principles presented to be invaluable in their field of ministry. The AEBC chooses to remain free from outside control and open to the leading of the Holy Spirit as an independent, religious institution specializing in Christian Biblical studies. As such, we do not seek accreditation through any agency approved through the U.S. Department of Education. Approach to Program of Study AEBC s off-campus studies provide the student with the opportunity to complete a high quality and affordable program of Christian higher learning from the comfort and ease of their own home. 1.

The advantages of distance learning are unlimited. You may study in your own home without having to discontinue employment or having to relocate to a distant campus site. The student studies at his/her own pace. Courses are taken one at a time in contrast to on-campus programs where several courses are taken simultaneously. This allows the student to fully digest the contents of each course before starting another program of study. Program Offerings As a student, you may enroll in any course you wish to take without having to enroll in an entire certificate or degree program. The AEBC offers two certificate programs and three degree programs: Christian Worker Certificate, Pastoral Certificate, Associate of Arts in Ministry (A. Min.), Bachelor of Arts in Theology (B.Th.) and seminary level Master of Arts in Divinity (M.Div.). Generally each course should be completed within a three month period of time. A Certificate of Completion will be issued for each course passed. To receive a Diploma, all courses in that program must be completed and successfully passed. The AEBC uses a pass/fail grading rubric. Failure is any grade below 70%. Upon successful completion, certificates and/or diplomas will be mailed to the student. ENROLLMENT To apply for admission to the American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary, simply complete and submit the Enrollment form along with the appropriate enrollment and course fees. The enrollment form is included in this catalog and is also available on-line at our website: www.aeccministries.com. Matriculation Evaluation of previous academic work requires an official transcript from each college/university and must be presented at time of enrollment. All previous work will be evaluated and a final determination will be made as to how many credits may or may not transfer. 2.

Credits for service in Christian ministries may also be submitted for evaluation. A detailed degree plan will be sent to the student at that time. A minimum of 25 credits must be taken through the AEBC for each degree program. Tuition: Tuition, Fees and Scholarships Each course (all programs) is four credits in length. The charge for each course is $52.00 ($13.00 per credit). The course fee includes study materials and the text book (if required for that course). Course materials are on CD. The only other books required by the student is the Holy Bible and for some courses, a Halley s Bible Handbook. Fees: 1. Enrollment fee (non-refundable due at time of enrollment) $25.00 2. If a student wishes a printed copy of a course instead of receiving the course on a CD - - (per course, add) $15.00 3. For students living outside the United States: Additional mailing charge (per course, add) $10.00 4. Certified transcript (each copy) $ 6.00 Scholarships: Dr. Berton Heleine Scholarship Program A partial scholarship may be available toward one degree program (no certificate programs). This is limited to AECC members (in good standing) and their spouses, who are legal citizens of the United States of America as funds are available. To see if you qualify, contact the Administration Office for availability and an application. Payment Recognizing the necessity for prompt payment of all school fees, not only as a good business principle, but for the sake of the spiritual and character development of the student, the following policy is in effect: 3.

Payment may be made in one of two ways: 1. You may pre-pay for the entire certificate or degree program up front. All books and materials will be shipped upon receipt of your payment. Prices will be frozen from any possible rate increases. 2. You may pre-pay for one course at a time. Once payment and written request for the next course is received, all books and materials for that course will be shipped to you. All payments may be made by personal check or money order in U.S. Dollars ($ USD) made payable to AEBC. Please list in the memo section as to what course this check applies to. Please do not send cash. Additional Information Please note that anything a student provides in addition to their course costs will be used to help keep our programs affordable in the future. You may also want to consider one or more of the following: - A tax-deductible gift of any amount with the understanding that nothing was exchanged or given in exchange for your donation. In the memo section, please note if this is for the general operating fund or for the Dr. Berton Heleine Scholarship Program. - Naming the AEBC as a beneficiary on a life insurance product. - Naming the AEBC in your will. The American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary is a wholly owned and operated Christian higher educational ministry of the American Evangelical Christian Churches, Inc. The AECC is a 501 (c) (3) notfor profit church denomination headquartered, registered and licensed in the State of Indiana. The American Evangelical Bible College and Seminary (AEBC) reserves the right to add, change, delete or modify courses, certificate or degree programs as deemed appropriate by the Administration of the AEBC, and to adjust tuition and fees accordingly without notification or obligation. 4.
