THIS MOTORBIKE IS TO BE OPERATED BY AN EXPERIENCED RIDER ONLY. Do not attempt to operate this motorbike at maximum power until you are totally familiar with it. 2. RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY PERSONS UNDER 70KGS. 3. RECOMMENDED MINIMUM AGE LIMIT IS 12 YEARS OLD.

4. THIS MOTORBIKE IS DIRECT DRIVE AND THEREFORE DOES NOT HAVE GEARS. When the engine is running, any use of the throttle will accelerate the motorbike forward. Always ensure that the brakes are applied, when the motorbike is stationery to ensure that it is does not accelerate forward, if the throttle is mistaken applied. 5. THIS MOTORBIKE IS FOR OFF- ROAD USE ONLY. DO NOT RIDE ON PUBLIC ROADS, HIGHWAYS, WALKWAYS, PUBLIC PLACES OR WHERE THE NOISE MAY CAUSE OFFENCE. 6. DO NOT RIDE THIS MOTORBIKE AFTER CONSUMING ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. 7. NO PASSENGER. THIS MOTORBIKE IS DESIGNED TO BE RIDDEN BY THE OPERATOR ONLY. That additional of a passenger may adversely affect the ability of the rider to control the motorbike. 8. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET WHEN RIDING THIS MOTORIBKE. A helmet was supplied free of charge when this motorbike was purchased. Please ensure that is worn at all times when this motorbike is being ridden. 9. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE APPAREL. Always wear proper fitting clothing that will not get caught in any of the moving parts or controls of the motorbike. Always wear suitable footwear. If other safety equipment is available such as body armour, shin and elbow pads, please use. 10. ALWAYS MAINTAIN YOUR MACHINE IN PROPER WORKING ORDER. For safety and reliability, this motorbike must be properly maintained. Correcting a mechanical problem before riding, may prevent an accident. 11. PETROL IS HIGHLY FLAMMABLE. Always turn off the engine while re-fuelling. Take care to not spill any petrol on the engine or exhaust system. Never refuel in the vicinity of an open flame, or while smoking. 12. PETROL CAN CAUSE INJURY. If you should swallow some petrol, inhale excess petrol vapours, or allow any petrol to get into your eyes, contact a doctor immediately. If any petrol spills onto your skin or clothing, immediately wash the skin areas with soap and water, and change your clothing. 13. ONLY OPERATE THE MOTORBIKE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. Never start the engine or let it run for any length of time in an enclosed area. Exhaust fumes are poisonous. These fumes contain carbon monoxide, which by itself is odourless and colourless. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous gas which can cause unconsciousness and death in a very short period of time. 14. PARK THE MOTORBIKE CAREFULLY; TURN OFF THE ENGINE. Always turn off the engine if you are going to leave the motorbike. Do not park the motorbike on a slope or soft ground as it may fall over. 15. THE ENGINE, EXHAUST PIPE, MUFFLER, AND OIL TANK WILL BE VERY HOT AFTER EXTENDED USE. Be careful not to touch them or to allow any clothing item to contact them during use, inspection or repair. 16. WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING DO NOT TOUCH THE SPARK PLUG CAP OR LEAD. Doing so may cause an electric shock. 17. ALWAYS CHECK THE BRAKES PRIOR TO USE. Ensure that both brake levers have a full range of motion and the callipers are functioning. If not adjust before use. 18. CHECK THE TYRES PRESSURE PRIOR TO USE. Ensure that the tyres are fully inflated. Riding on a deflated tyre/s may reduce the control the rider has and cause an accident. Ensure that the tyres are inflated to 36psi. 19. CHECK THAT THE THROTTLE HAS A FREE RANGE OF MOTION. If it is sticking for any reason, please seek advice. 20. DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE IF THE MUFFLER OR AIR CLEANER HAVE BEEN REMOVED. 21. PROPERLY SECURE THE MOTORBIKE BEFORE TRANSPORTING IT. When transporting the motorbike in another vehicle, always be sure it is properly secured and in an upright position and ensure that the fuel cock is in the OFF position. Otherwise, fuel may leak out of the carburettor or fuel tank. ASSEMBLY AND PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION This motorbike has been professionally assembled and a Pre-Delivery Inspection carried by the Motorcycle Doctors. This checklist has been signed and dated by the technician and attached to the motorbike.

TOOL KIT A basic tool kit has been included with the motorbike. A fuel container has been supplied to ensure that the correct petrol to oil ratio mixture is used. This ratio is 28mls of oil to 1Ltr of petrol. Failure to run this engine with the correct fuel mixture will seize the engine, causing major internal damage. Doing so will void the warranty. (show image of the fuel cap with sticker on it. (Image with the 2 stroke sticker on the cap) RE-FUELLING Smoking is strictly prohibited while re-fuelling the motorbike. Do not re-fuel the motorbike while the engine is still hot. Turn it off and allow the engine to cool for several minutes before re-fuelling. ASSISTANCE If you require assistance, call 0800 488566 to speak with the Motorcycle Doctors. They will be able to assist with your enquiry and offer assistance in trying to diagnose the problem. Please have your frame number ready to quote. Public holidays - Closed WARRANTY This motorbike has a comprehensive 12 month warranty. This warranty covers all mechanical faults not caused by rider error, mis-use or general wear and tear. Warranty Claim The Motorcycle Doctors will be able to tell you whether or not you are covered by the warranty. If it is, you will be given a warranty claim number that will allow for the repair to be tracked. You can then take the motorbike to your nearest repair agent for an inspection. If necessary they will contact the Motorcycle Doctors to arrange for any parts that maybe required. Give the claim number to the repair agent and they will carry out the work to repair the motorbike at no cost to you. If parts are required, these will also be covered by the warranty. Auckland All repairs will be completed by the Motorcycle Doctors. Outside Auckland Take to your nearest motorbike repair agent. Please take your Operating Manual with you, as it has important information relating to the repair of the motorbike. Out of Warranty Claim If repairs to the motorbike are not covered under warranty, i.e. are a result of damage caused by rider mis-use or through not following the correct procedure for re-fuelling or storing the motorbike, then you will be responsible to cover any cost associated with the getting the motorbike repaired. Frame Number Each motorbike has it own individual frame number with no two bikes the same. This can be found on the metal label on the neck of the frame on the right hand side of the motorbike. CONTROL FUNCTIONS Brake Levers (show images) The brake levers are located on both handlebars. The left lever operates the back brake and the right lever operates the front brake. Left Brake Lever Back Brake Right Brake Lever Front Brake Front Brake Adjustment The front brake cable free play can be adjusted to suit the riders preference but a minimum free play (a) (show image) of 10 20mm should be maintained. The amount of free play can be adjusted at the brake lever or the brake shoe plate. 1. Loosen the lock nut (1) on the brake level holder and the turn the adjuster (2) in. (show image)

2. Loosen the lock nut (3) on the brake shoe plate and turn the adjuster (4) in or out until the desired adjustment is achieved. (show image) 3. Unless the brake shoe plate adjuster helps with the correct amount of free play, only adjust the brake lever holder adjuster. Back Brake Adjustment The rear brake should be adjusted to suit the riders preference but a minimum free play (a) (show image) of 10 20mm should be maintained. The amount of free play can be adjusted at the brake lever. 1. Loosen the lock nut (1) on the brake level holder and the turn the adjuster (2) in. (see image) Engine Stop Switch (show image) The engine stop switch is located on the left handlebar. Continue pressing the switch until the engine stops. Emergency Kill Switch (show image) The emergency kill switch is located on the left handlebar. A red rubber cap pressed on top of the kill switch is attached to a cord, with a clip on the end. The clip is to be attached to the clothing of the rider. If the rider falls off the motorbike, the cord and rubber cap are pulled off the kill switch, which immediately stops the engine. Throttle (show image) The throttle is located on the right handlebar. It accelerates and decelerates the engine. For acceleration, turn the grip towards you and for deceleration, turn the grip away from you.

Throttle Restrictor (show images) This motorbike is equipped with a 3 stage throttle restrictor. This in effect means it has 3 speed settings. The motorbike as you bought it, is in the lowest setting. To increase the amount of throttle available, move the screw in the throttle handle to the next hole. The highest amount of throttle is available when the screw is in hole at the front, closet to the brake lever. Slow Setting Medium Setting

Fast Setting Fuel Cock The fuel cock supplies fuel from the tank to carburettor while filtering the fuel. The fuel cock has the two positions: Closed: With the lever in this position, fuel will not flow. Always return the fuel cock to this position when the engine is not running. Open: With the lever in this position, fuel flows to the carburettor. Normal riding is done with the fuel cock in this position. Fuel Cock Open Fuel Cock Closed Start up Before the motorbike is ridden, start the engine and allow it to warm up by running at idle speed. Do not ride the bike immediately on start up. Turn the fuel cock to the on position and open the choke. Pull the starter, without the use of the throttle and let the engine run at idle for 1-2 minutes. The engine is warm when it responds normally to throttle application. Choke When cold, the engine requires a richer air-fuel mixture for starting. A separate starter circuit, which is controlled by the choke, supplies this mixture. Push the choke up to open the circuit for starting. Allow the engine to warm up for 30 seconds then push the choke down to close the circuit.

Up - On Down - Off Shut down After each use, allow the engine to idle for several minutes before turning it off. KEY MAINTENANCE POINTS Air Filter Proper air filter maintenance is the biggest key to preventing premature engine wear and damage. Never run the engine without the air filter in place; this would allow dirt and dust to enter the engine and cause rapid wear and possible engine damage. Clean the air filter every 5 hours of use. Take it off and rinse in water, then air dry with compressed air or by leaving it in sunlight. Tyres Ensure that the tyres are inflated to 36psi. Check the pressure while the tyres are cold. Failure to do so could result in damage to the tube and/or valve.

Wheel Rims This motorbike is fitted with re-enforced rims. It is important that these wheels are regular checked to make sure that they are not buckled. Elevate the wheel and spin it. If the wheel wobbles, then it will need to be replaced. Kick Stand Always ensure the kick stand is used when the motorbike is not in operation. This will stop it from falling over or onto anyone. CLEANING AND STORAGE CLEANING Frequent cleaning of the motorbike will enhance its appearance, maintain good overall performance, and extend the life of many components. 1. Before washing the motorbike, block off the end of the exhaust pipe to prevent water from entering. A plastic bag secured with a rubber band may be used for this purpose. 2. If the engine is excessively greasy, apply some degreaser to it with a paint brush. Do not apply degreaser to the chain, sprockets, or wheel axles. 3. Rinse the dirt and degreaser off with a garden hose. Do not use excessive pressure to do the job. CAUTION: Excessive water pressure may cause water seepage and contamination of wheel bearings, front forks, brakes and transmission seals. Expensive repair bills may result from improper high pressure detergent applications such as those available in coin-operated car washers. 4. After the majority of the dirt has been hosed off, wash all surfaces with warm water and a mild detergent. Use an old toothbrush to clean hard-to-reach places. 5. Rinse the machine off immediately with clean water, and dry all surfaces with a soft towel cloth or chamois. 6. Immediately after washing, remove excess water from the chain with a paper towel and lubricate to prevent rust. 7. Clean the seat with a vinyl upholstery cleaner to keep the cover pliable and glossy. 8. Automotive wax may be applied to all painted or chromed surfaces. Avoid combination cleaner-waxes, as they may contain abrasives.

9. After completing the above, start the engine and allow it to idle for several minutes. STORAGE If your machine is to be stored for 60 days or more, some preventive measures must be taken to avoid deterioration. After cleaning the machine thoroughly, prepare it for storage as follows: 1. Drain the fuel tank, fuel lines, and the carburettor float bowl. 2. Remove the spark plug, pour a tablespoon of SAE 10W-30 motor oil in the spark plug hole, and reinstall the plug. With the engine stop switch pushed in, kick the engine over several times to coat the cylinder walls with oil. 3. Remove the drive chain, clean it thoroughly with solvent, and lubricate it. Reinstall the chain or store it in a plastic bag tied to the frame. 4. Lubricate all control cables. 5. Block the frame up to raise the wheels off the ground. 6. Tie a plastic bag over the exhaust pipe outlet to prevent moisture from entering. 7. If the motorbike is to be stored in a humid or a salt-air environment, coat all exposed metal surfaces with a film of light oil. Do not apply oil to rubber parts or the seat cover. During winter keep the motorbike in warm dry environment. This will ensure that it is easier to start. If the motorbike has not been ridden for more than 2 weeks, turn off the fuel tap, unscrew the screw on the bottom of the fuel chamber and drain until there is no longer any fuel coming out. Tighten the screw and turn the fuel tap to the on position. (Separate Page) Instructions for the Repair Agent To the repair agent: If a customer has come to you with one of our motorbikes, it is after being instructed to do so. If the owner gives you a warranty claim number, then repair is under warranty and will be paid for in full by The Warehouse Limited. The claim number and frame number have been recorded and will be filed as a record of the repair being completed. If the customer

comes to you without a claim number, then the repair is not covered by warranty and the owner is to be invoiced directly. If under warranty, please call the Motorcycle Doctors (MCD) on 0800 422566 to discuss the repair/s that need to be completed, letting them know how long it will take to make the repair and what part/s are required. There is a full range of parts, specific to this motorbike available in stock. The MCD will give permission for the repair to be completed and arrange for the part/s to be couriered to you. The Warehouse Ltd will cover all labour costs up to two (2) hours, associated with the repair. If the repair is expected to exceed two (2), MCD will give permission. Note - If the customer has a claim number, the cost of the repair will be covered under warranty. No claim number no warranty. Spare parts if required will be sent directly to the repair agent. They will invoice us directly, with no cost to the owner. Repairs not covered by warranty will need to be paid for by the owner. Spare parts, specific to this motorbike, are available and may need to be purchased to complete the repair of the motorbike. These will be sent directly to the repair agent, who will invoice the owner for the cost of the parts and the labour. Mechanical repairs carried out by someone other than an authorised repair agent, will void this warranty. If this bike is purchased second hand, the warranty is void. Using parts other than ones specific to this motorbike, unless by prior arrangement will void the warranty.
