1.1 Regional Share of Investment in the US In the 3 rd Quarter of 2013, 55% of Venture Capital funding was invested in California and the largest recipient was the San Francisco Bay Area. 46% of all VC funding in the U.S. and 83% of all VC funding in California was invested within the San Francisco Bay Area
1.2 Total Amount Invested By Region In the 3 nd Quarter of 2013, the San Francisco Bay Area received over four times the Venture Capital funding than the second-ranked region (New England).
