BOTTLE SERVICE AMENITIES BOTTLESERVICEGUIDE // 2013 There are a number of different amenities that you will get when you make a bottle service reservation. 1. You and your party will receive priority seating when you arrive at the nightclub. In almost all instances, the cover charge is waived when you purchase bottle service. 2. You will get a menu from which you can order your bottles and mixers (cranberry, pineapple, orange, club soda, tonic, soda products) Purchasing bottle service at one of the nightclubs or pool parties will save you from fighting for drinks at the oft-crowded bar. 3. You will get a place to sit or stand with your group. This is your home-base for the night, making the night more enjoyable. While we don t recommend everyone leaving the table, you are free to wander the club and bring whomever you want back to the table. 4. In most cases you get to keep your table for the entire night when you purchase the minimum. TYPES OF BOTTLE SERVICE BOTTLE SERVICE AT NIGHTCLUBS To figure out your bottle service minimum at a nightclub will depend on a couple of things: First, there are two to three tiers of nightclubs in Las Vegas. Tier 1 nightclubs require 1 bottle or $500 revenue minimum per 3 people. Tier 2 nightclubs require 1 bottle or $500 minimum for every 4 to 5 people. Tier 3 nightclubs will let you get away with 1 bottle or $500 minimum for your party of up to like 8 to 10 people. * These minimums are the cheapest that you can get a table, for your group. The table minimums will go up from there depending on the location of the table. Example: 9 guys will be a $1500 minimum at Light Nightclub for the cheapest table that you can get, plus you will need to show up early to ensure that you get the table. However, if the same party is looking to get a 2nd tier dance floor table at Light on the same night the minimum is going to be a 5,000 revenue minimum. In this case this party could technically order right around 10 bottles. BOTTLE SERVICE AT POOL PARTIES The pool parties are different when it comes to the revenue minimums. At the pool parties, pricing is set by the type of table. The options for pool parties go as follows: Bungalows, Cabanas, Daybeds, Lily Pads, Lounge Tables and Chaise Lounge Chairs. UMBRELLAGROUP.com
WHAT DOES BOTTLE SERVICE COST? There are a number of things that will factor in the total cost of your table or bottle service. Location of the table (Dance Floor, Right of Dance floor, patio, other room) Type of table (cabana, bungalow, lounge table, etc) Day of the Week Type of Event: DJ, Holiday Weekend, Big Convention, etc. WHAT IS A REVENUE MINIMUM? A revenue minimum is the total amount of money before tax and gratuity that you will be required to spend on bottles, alcohol, water, Redbull and at pool parties food. HOW MANY BOTTLES WILL WE GET? While we get this question all of the time the answer is this: It totally depends on what you order but bottles start at 450 depending on the nightclub, pool party and day of the week. So to answer this question, it will depend on what you order. DO WE GET TO KEEP THE TABLE FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT? Most of the time you will get to keep your table the entire night. TIPPING & GRATUITY When you get bottle service most nightclub and pool party hosts only quote the minimum, however there are other things that you will be charged in addition to the bottle minimum and one of those things is gratuity. When it comes to gratuity you might find that almost every nightclub and pool party and just Las Vegas in general, everyone is looking to get tipped for something. While everyone is going to want/expect a tip these are the people that you really should/have to tip! VEGASPOOLSEASON.com
VIP HOST The VIP host is basically a sales rep for the nightclub or pool party or you could look at it like they are the person that works on getting you the best table/location/minimum that is possible for your group. They are also the person that will be responsible for helping the stragglers in your group get into the venue, bring your girls to the table and anything else that you might be interested in doing while you are inside of the venue. RULE OF THUMB: If you have someone that is hosting you and your party for the entire night then the tip should be about 10-15% of what you minimum in the nightclub is. If you are tipping the host that just booked your table then in most cases no tip is required. You should however tip the host that walks you into the venue right around 10% (couple of hundred dollars) of your table, unless they got you a great table for a lower minimum or something. COCKTAIL SERVER If you get bottle service you don t really have a choice in this matter, all nightclubs add an Auto Gratuity (AUTOGRAD) to the check of at least 20%. The cocktail servers are there to make sure that you are drinking, literally. In most nightclubs now the Busser/table attendant is responsible for bringing out the bottles, mixers, ice, etc. while the cocktail waitresses job is to literally serve you and your party drinks! BUSSER / TABLE ATTENDANTS They are really the ones that are responsible for making sure that you get all of the mixers, cigarettes, ice, etc. The standard tip for a busser / table attendant is going to be 40 to 60 for the night to start. SECURITY GUARDS The security guard that is in your section can be a great resource if you need to go to bathroom and don t want to wait in line, if you have a group of bottle rats on your table that you don t want there anymore, they can also make sure that no one in your party gets kicked out of the nightclub or pool party. Security guards especially at nightclubs can help you find groups of girls to party with; be careful some of these girls are bottle rats. A decent tip for a security guard to do this is around $100 for the night, unless you are asking a lot from him. RULE OF THUMB: $80 to $100 depending on what you ask him to do. UMBRELLAGROUP.com
BATHROOM ATTENDANTS If you are on a bit of a budget and/or your table is not in the best location that would require you taking care of the security guard then the next best person to make sure that you take care of is the bathroom attendant, they can save you tons of time waiting in line for the restroom. Plus if you are really wanting that VIP experience, anyone that buys a table can walk past the general admission, not everyone can walk past the line for the bathroom. RULE OF THUMB Give the bathroom attendant between $20 & 40 the first time and that will usually keep you coming in and out of the restroom the entire night. TAXES // REQUIRED Nevada State Sales Tax: 8.1% of the subtotal of the bill. Live Entertainment Tax: An additional 10% tax on the subtotal. Auto Gratuity: This is between 20 and 23% depending on the weekend, venue and DJ performing. Bottle Service Example: 6 ppl Saturday Night with a Dance Floor Table 5,000 (revenue Minimum) + 1,000 (20% auto gratuity) + 405 (8.1% Nevada State Sales Tax) 6,405 Total or about 1,067.50 per person. We can recommend different events that we think will be the best fit for your group and your budget and then once you are satisfied with the itinerary then we can make the reservations at the venues for you. Then you will just need to show up to the events on the itinerary at the appropriate times and pay for the bottle service as we discussed. 2. We can work with you to create an itinerary for all of the events that you want to go to, where we will have a VIP host meet you at set times and walk you into the nightclubs or pool parties to ensure that you everything is taken care of. For these types of reservations, we will take a deposit for each of the events that a VIP host will be meeting you at. 3. The last type of reservation, we will work with you to create an itinerary for your group. Once we have a schedule and have confirmed the pricing for each of the events on your list we will take the payment of the entire reservation from your party. Then we will get to the nightclubs right when they open and check into your table for you. Benefits: you and your party do not have to arrive at the nightclub by 11:30pm to ensure that you get the table that you requested.
