In File Manger, touch and hold a file and choose Create shortcut from the displayed option menu to add it to the home screen.! Touch and hold a widget and choose Setting shortcut or Contact. 1.6 Contacts 1.6.1 How do I create a contact? How do I assign a photo to a contact?! Creating a contact 8

1 Basics Go to Contacts, touch or to display the contact editing screen, touch to select a save mode, enter the contact details, and touch to save the contact.! Touch when the contact is already in your contacts list.! Touch when the contact is not in your contacts list.! Assigning a photo to a contact Note: You cannot assign photos to contacts saved to the SIM card. Method 1: Go to Contacts and touch a contact. On the contact details screen, touch to take a photo or choose a photo from the gallery. 1.6.2 How many contacts can my phone save? You can save 2000 or more contacts in your phone's internal storage. How many contacts can the SIM card save depends on the SIM card. 1.6.3 How do I add a contact to a contacts group? Use either of the following methods:! On the contact editing screen, touch Join group and select a group. 9

Create a message, and touch the text field to bring up the onscreen keyboard. The default input method is Huawei Swype. Swipe down on the screen to open the status bar, touch, and select an input method. 1.7.2 How do I delete or lock a message in a conversation? How do I delete multiple messages in batches?! Go to Messaging and touch a conversation to display all messages in the conversation. Touch and hold the message you want to lock. Choose Menu. From the displayed option menu, choose Lock. 10

1 Basics! On the Messaging screen, touch and hold the message or conversation you want to delete. From the displayed option menu, choose Delete. You can also touch and hold a message and then select multiple messages or conversations to delete them in batches. 1.7.3 How do I forward a message or send a message to multiple recipients?! To forward a message: Touch and hold the message, choose Forward from the displayed option menu, enter a recipient, and send the message.! To send a message to multiple recipients: Create a message, touch, select the desired recipients, and touch Add. You can send a text message to up to 100 recipients at a time. 1.7.4 How many Chinese and English characters can be contained in a long message? A long message can contain up to 10 pages with a maximum of 670 Chinese characters or 1530 English characters. 1.7.5 How many messages can be saved on my phone? A conversation can contain a maximum of 500 text messages or 50 multimedia messages by default. You can set the maximum numbers from Settings.
