It automatically shows the caller's name and phone number if the contact is saved in your contact s list. When the caller s information is not saved, only the caller's phone number is displayed. Outgoing ID Enable To enable outgoing caller ID so people you call can see your number, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Additional settings. 5. Tap Caller ID. 6. Tap Show number. Outgoing ID Restrict

Picture ID Set To assign a picture ID to a contact, follow these steps: Note: You can assign a picture ID to contacts stored on the phone but not to those stored on the SIM card. 2. Tap Contacts. 3. 5 Call Forwarding Cancel call forwarding Not supported We re sorry, but this feature is not available on this phone. Forward all calls (unconditional forwarding) Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring. To enable or disable unconditional call forwarding, follow these steps: Enable Note: The phone number for forwarding to voic is Tap Call. 4. Scroll to and tap Call forwarding. 5. Tap Always forward. 6. Enter the phone number you want to forward your calls to, or tap the Contact icon to select a phone number from your contacts list. 7. Tap Enable. Note: An icon will appear on your Status bar when call forwarding is enabled. 1. Disable 2. Tap the status bar and drag down. 3. Tap Disable. Forward some calls (conditional forwarding) Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number based on the status of your phone. Call Settings DTMF tones Your device can send a number to the network as dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones. DTMF tones are used to communicate with automated systems that require you to type a number such as a code, password, or credit card number. While your phone can use DTMF tones (touch tones), there is no setting to turn them on or off. We re sorry, but disabling DTMF tones is not available on this phone. Fixed dialing Walmart Family Mobile does not support fixed dialing. To disable fixed dialing if you have enabled it, follow these steps: 3. Tap Call. 4. Tap Fixed dialing numbers. 5. Save any open files. 2. If the phone is plugged into the charger or USB cable, unplug it. 3. Remove the battery.
81 o Important: Removing the battery is required. Turning off the phone with the Power key does not work, because of the Fast Boot feature. 4. Re-insert the battery. 5. Press and hold the Volume Down key. 6. While holding the Volume Down key, press the Power key. Do not release the volume key. 7. Release the Volume Down key when the three Android images appear on the bottom of the screen. 83 Master reset A master reset restores the original factory settings and may erase all user accounts, downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available). To perform a master reset, follow these steps. 1. Back up all necessary data and synchronize files. See Back up files above. 2. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key. 3. Tap Settings. 4. Tap Privacy. Important: Turning off Back up my settings and Automatic restore may prevent issues from reoccurring after performing the master reset. 5. Master reset using hardware buttons Note: A hard reset restores the original factory settings and erases content, including downloaded ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. This feature allows for resetting of sound profiles, display settings, and phone or memory card settings. However, if you want to try resetting some factory settings
84 without losing any data, then before a master reset. Before performing a master reset using hardware buttons, first attempt: Soft reset Clear system cache Master reset using the menu To perform a hard reset using the hardware keys, follow these steps: 1. Back up all necessary data and synchronize files. See Back up data above. 2. If the phone is plugged into the charger or USB cable, unplug it. 3. Remove the battery. Important: Removing the battery is required. Turning off the phone with the Power key does not work, because of the Fast Boot feature. 4. Re-insert the battery. 5. Press and hold both the Volume Down key and the Power key. Hold the keys for at least 3-5 seconds, and continue to step 6 without releasing them. 6. Soft reset A soft reset clears and shuts down all active programs. This can help when the device is running slower than normal or not performing properly. 87 Related errors: 'Enter Special Code' 'Please Wait to Enter Special Code' The SIM subsidy unlock code allows you to use a SIM card from another wireless carrier in your phone. To enter the SIM subsidy. Important: Stop immediately if you receive an error message while performing these steps. The phone will lock permanently if you enter the incorrect SIM subsidy code multiple times. 1. From any Home screen, tap the Phone icon. 2. Obtain your IMEI by entering the following character string:*#06#. 3. Contact Family Mobile Customer Care and request a SIM subsidy unlock code. Note: You will be asked to provide your IMEI. 4. Turn off your phone and insert a non-family Mobile SIM card. 5. Turn on your phone. You will see a screen where you can enter the unblock code. 6. Enter the unblock code. 7. If necessary, tap OK. If the process is NOT successful, check that the IMEI you provided to Family Mobile is correct before proceeding. Time and Date Alarm clock - Set To set the alarm clock, follow these steps: 2. Tap Clock. 3. Tap the Alarms icon. 4. Tap Add alarm. 5. Touch and scroll to the desired alarm time. 6. If desired, enter an alarm description. 7. Change the alarm settings as desired. 8. Tap Done. Auto-update (NITZ) Automatic update of time and date (NITZ) checks for the correct time while the device is turned on. Note: When you enter a different time zone and turn on your phone, it automatically updates to reflect the new time. This feature is network-dependent and may not be available in all areas. To turn on NITZ, follow these steps: 3. Tap Date & time.
