In the past four years the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology has graduated more than 170 students. Based on our annual survey, more than 80% of these students are employed in their discipline.

AET Graduates Where are AET graduates employed? SRG Global Lockheed-Martin Performance Contracting Group KDMK Cooper Standard KY DOT Mazak MSU Eng./Leadership positions Marathon Oil Frederick and May Construction Osram Sylvania West Virginia Electric Supply SealMaster Summit Polymers

AET Graduates How much do they earn? Constr. Mgmt. & Civil Eng. Tech. grads - $45,000 Avg. Design & Manufacturing Eng. Tech. grads. - $50,000 Avg. Elec. & Computer Eng. Tech. grads. - $50,000 Avg.

AET Graduates Who depends on AET graduates? One of the factors influencing industries/businesses To establish their companies, such as SRG, KDMK, etc., in the region is the availability of skilled workers. Based on recent statistical data manufacturing industrial firms in the US need many more of the type of skilled graduates we prepare. Unemployment in MFG is less than 8.4 whole the nations unemployment rate is 9.1.

AET Graduates What do AET graduates do for the economy? With an average salary of $45,000, just 45 AET program graduates add more than $2,000,000 annually to the economy. The economy is also bolstered by graduating students depending on financial aid to prepare them for high paid jobs. The availability of these problem-solving, highly skilled workers allows companies to stay in or move to the region.

What is a college education worth? Graduates of Applied Engineering and Technology at MSU typically earn: Associate degree (2 year) $32,500 Average Salary Bachelor degree (4 year) $45,000 Average Salary Some AET graduates > $50,000 + Master s degree???
