SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY Oceanside High School, established in 1900 and accredited by the New York State Department of Education, is a public comprehensive high school in the Long Island suburbs of New York City. Grades are weighted in all Regents Level (1.02), honors (1.08), advanced placement and college level (1.10) courses. Both the weighted and unweighted cumulative averages are reported on the transcript.
