1. Introduction to Merchant Services Online businesses require appropriate form of payment processing. Understanding how to select merchant services can impact your sales revenue and profit. What are merchant services? Merchant services enable you to process payments from your customers. In OKPAY it s a special account feature that allows you to accept credit cards and other payment options. Will OKPAY provide Merchant Services to my business? Depending on your business situation a home-based business owner may be turned down from a bank since their business is less established. OKPAY Merchant Services are available to any legal business or organisation. OKPAY also offers Merchant Services to individuals that desire to maintain small online business under their personal name. What is required to begin payment processing online? First of all you need to sign up for an account and complete verification procedures. Follow the instructions in this guide to apply for OKPAY Merchant Account* and increase your sales. OKPAY Company is offering business owners complete payment solution: accepting e-currencies, bank transfers, cash money transfer systems and phone payments with a single integration! OKPAY ewallet allows managing multiple businesses under one account: create additional Wallets for various tasks, assign separate payment options for each Wallet to organize payments efficiently. 2. OKPAY Merchant Account Setup Open www.okpay.com website to login to your OKPAY account. Locate the main panel on top of the page: Click on Log In link to open your OKPAY account this will bring you to the next page My Account overview. Then in the same panel on top of the page click on the Profile link: On the Profile page locale the Finance section: And click on the Wallets and Currencies link this will bring you to the Wallets and Currencies overview page: You will see all the Wallets you have created in your OKPAY account: Name of the Wallet, Date Opened, enabled Currencies and total Balance of the Wallet. There is also an Edit button (pencil icon) on the right that you can use to modify the Wallet properties. Click on the Edit button (pencil icon) or click directly on the Wallet name (e.g. Wallet #1) and locate a Merchant Activation tab. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not have Merchant Activation tab it means that you did not select a Seller account type. 4

2.1. Choosing Account Type To enable a Seller account type you need to locate a Merchant Settings tab and click on the Account type setup link: On the next page you will be able to choose Seller account type. Select For Sellers and click on the Continue button this will bring you to the Merchant Activation tab. 5

3. Merchant Activation Overview As you can see OKPAY Company offers 2 levels of Merchant Account. Level 1 Merchant will be enabled instantly when you will select a Seller account type. You can only accept OKPAY e-currency and some additional e-currencies. Payment links / buttons generation service and IPN notifications are also available. This level is perfect for a basic personal payment functionality, donations, etc. Level 2 Merchant Requires Website Validation, Business Information and Personal/Corporate Questionnaire on Financial Activity steps to complete. Second level features support of all e-currencies, API functions, accepting payments on your business name and listing in the OKPAY Business Directory. This level is ideal for online businesses and organizations. 6

3.1. Website Validation Start with the Website Validation, click on the appropriate link this will bring you to the Websites page: Click on Add button to add new website, and enter the URL Open a Notepad (or other text editor software) type just one word okpay and save a file in a TXT format with the exact filename as given on your website validation page. Then upload this file to the root folder for your site; confirm successful upload and click on Verify button. 7

3.1.1. 3.1.2. Meta-tag Verification Use this option if you can edit website HTML You will need to copy a meta-tag from the website validation page and paste it into the site s homepage. It should be pasted in the <head> section of the page before the <body> section. Then click on the Verify button. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you can not validate your website with the options given on the Website Validation (e.g. you have a flash-based website) please feel free to contact our Support Service. 9

3.2. Business Information Continue with Business Information by clicking on the appropriate link this will bring you to the Business Info tab of the Wallet Properties page: Business Information page consists of 2 sections: General business description and Customer support. For a General business description enter your Business Title, select an appropriate Category of the business, Website, enter a brief Description of your business and upload a Logotype. 10

Make sure that you have selected an appropriate Category for your business. Description box must contain a brief description of your business, preferably in English. Logotype dimensions are 120x120 pixels; the image must have equal width and heights (square logo image). For a Customer support you can enter a Phone number, Email and a Support URL of your business. It is a very important section as it shows customers your willingness to cooperate and resolve possible issues. Double-check all provided information and click on the Save button. IMPORTANT NOTE: You will also need add OKPAY graphics to your website clearly stating that your business accepts OKPAY e-currency (feel free to use our Promo Graphics); Information saved message will appear. Then click on the Merchant Activation tab to proceed. 11

3.3. Questionnaire on Financial Activity In order to apply for a Level 3 Merchant you need to complete 2 additional steps: Personal / Company Questionnaire on Financial Activity and Business Practice. Click on the Personal / Company Questionnaire on Financial Activity link to proceed: 12

Financial activity information contains the following questions: purpose of the outgoing transactions, source of funds, bank transfers activity, frequency of use, expected annual turnover, government service relations, and recipient s information. Complete the form, double-check provided information, read the important note and click on the Agree and Save button. Information will be saved and Information saved message will appear. 13

3.4. Business Practice Business Practice is the last step click on the appropriate link to complete it 14

Business Practice Questionnaire form contains the following questions: revenue, advertise, fraud protection, terms of service, refund policy and the website ownership. Complete the form, double-check provided information and click on the Save button. Information will be saved and Information saved message will appear: IMPORTANT NOTE: In accordance with Know Your Customer KYC policy it is important to provide this information; it enables Financial Institutions to know/understand their customers and their financial dealings to be able to serve them better and prudently manage the risks of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. 15

3.5. Merchant Account Level 2 Please note that all the steps for Level 2 Merchant are now completed and the Request Approval button is enabled. After you will click on Request Approval button a Comment window will pop-up: You can leave a comment for an agent that will be reviewing your application or leave it blank. Click on the Confirm Request button to proceed. Your request will be created and you will receive an email shortly: 16

OKPAY Company features One-Day Merchant account approval, your application will be reviewed within one business day! You will also receive a confirmation email upon approval: 17

4. Payment Preferences Setup payment preferences that will best suit your business. Open the Payment Preferences tab, on the Wallet Properties page it consists of 3 sections. First section is Payment Receiving Preferences Payment Receiving Preferences contains general settings regarding your potential clients. Refer to this section if you want to accept payments from anonymous members, unverified customers and using send money feature. Please also note that you can find the purchase commission setting it can be paid either by Buyer or by Merchant. Second section is Accepted Payment Instruments 18

Accepted Payment Instruments section contains the list of payment instruments that you can accept, enrollment period, availability for unregistered clients and possibility of refunds. Refer to this section if you want to enable or disable certain payment options. Third section is Payments by Country 19
