Sustainable Tourism & From the Canarian Institute of Marine Science (belonging to the Canarian Government) and the Centre on Biodiversity and Environmental Management (at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University), we have the pleasure to announce an international event where a set of workshops and meetings related to sustainable tourism and coastal management will take place. The Sustainable Tourism & will be co-financed by the Interreg IIIC 1 projects: CoPraNet The Coastal Practice Network, Interreg IIIC West Network DestiLink Network on Sustainable Tourism Destination Development: linking rural regions and research institutions in Europe, Interreg IIIC North Network. The Interreg IIIC South project SUVOT - Sustainable and Vocational Tourism will also be participating. After the identification of common points of all three projects, this is the first time that the Sustainable Tourism Development Cluster Meeting will take place, with the aim of trying to share and complement experiences. All this activity will be taking place during the week from the 21 st 25 th of November in Gran Canaria Island (Canary Islands, Spain). The event developed will consist of: CoPraNet Workshop on Sustainable Littoral & Tourism Management. DestiLink Workshop on Nature Quality: sustainable tourism in nature sensitive areas. Sustainable Tourism Development Cluster Meeting. (For CoPraNet, DestiLink and SUVOT project partners). Study visits will show the tourist and natural values of Gran Canaria Island. 1 Interrreg IIIC projects enable regions to share the knowledge and experience that will help them develop new solutions to economic, social and environmental challenges. 1/7
