Getting Started T Analyst is a comprehensive online bill presentation, reporting, and analysis tool designed to provide users with insight into their telecommunications billing and usage. By viewing your bills online and running reports, you can analyse all of your costs and usage to help you run your business more efficiently. Getting started is easy. From the moment you log in, you will have the ability to manage your bills, view standard reports and graphs, and create your own custom reports. Navigation The main navigation bar allows access to all of the tools available in the application. Home Home contains dashboards to highlight monthly usage and charges, important messages regarding T Analyst functionality and any additional messages from Telstra. View Bills View Bills allows you to easily manage all of your Telstra bills. You can compare bills to previous months and group bills by specific criteria. Cost Allocation Use an organisational hierarchy to allocate account and service charges by department or cost centre in just seconds. Summary Reports Summary reports give an overview of your telecommunications usage displayed as tables or graphs. Use standard reports or create custom reports to meet your specific needs. Detail Reports Detail reports contain individual data records that can include a variety of information including call usage, equipment, and other charges or credits. You can choose from a number of predefined reports or create custom reports to meet your specific needs. Download Centre Download Centre allows you to view your pending report request status and download completed requests for Bill, Cost Allocation, Summary and Detail Reports. Setup Setup is the control centre of the application. Create hierarchies to allocate costs, set up tools such as filters and mark-ups, and add descriptions to commonly called numbers. 3
Help The Help tab includes a detailed user guide, frequently asked questions and support contact Logging Out of T Analyst To ensure you log out correctly of T Analyst, please click the Logout button. Simply closing the browser may leave other Telstra application sessions open. View Bills The View Bills page allows you to easily manage your Telstra bills. You can view consolidated bills, compare to historical bills and group bills by specific criteria. Bill columns and definitions Bill Issue Date: Date the bill was issued Account: Telstra billing account number Bill Number: Number allocated to a specific bill Amount Billed: Amount billed on selected bill Budget Variance: Variance from budget allocated by user in Setup tab Days Until Due: Number of days until payment due date. If dash (-) is displayed, due date for bill has passed. 4
Viewing a PDF bill View the PDF version of a single bill. 1. Click the View Bills tab. 2. Select the month you would like to view from the drop down menu. 3. Click Update View. 4. Check the box of the Bill you would like to view from the list. 5. Click View Bill. 6. Click on the appropriate bill type that you want to view. An Account Summary bill provides a summary version of your bill and clicking on View Bill provides the detailed version of the bill. Comparing bills Compare your current bill to 18 months of historical bills to identify unanticipated variances and analyse cost and usage trends. 1. When viewing a bill, select the period of comparison from the Compare drop-down list. 2. Click Update View. 5
Requesting bills Generate a one-time or recurring bill report request 1. While on View Bills tab, select the account you wish to request a bill. 2. Click Request Bills. (Note: If you would like to request bills for All Accounts, begin with Step 2.) 3. Confirm your account selection or change to All Accounts. 4. Select Current month s bills, Previous month s bills, or a specific month for Bill Date. 5. Select if you would like to receive this one time or on a monthly basis. 6. Select the file type. 7. Select if you would like to have the report emailed to you and additional recipients. 8. Click Submit Request. 1 2 3 4 5 6 6
