Configuration Guide xrm1 Employee Cockpit CRM 2013, 2015 and CRM Online 1 General Information 2 Configuring and Customizing the xrm1 Employee Cockpit 3 Further information and Troubleshooting 1 General Information 1.1 The xrm1 Employee Cockpit This guide is about the configuration and customization of the xrm1 Employee Cockpit. All necessary information about the Employee Cockpit itself can be found in the CRM-Project and xrm1 HR Management User Manuals which can be downloaded from our website www.xrm1.com. 1.2 Namings When you are aware of customizing in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you have a detailed knowledge of fields, forms etc. In this guide, we often talk about cockpits and containers. A cockpit is always a form in terms of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a container is always a field. 2 Configuring and Customizing the xrm1 Employee Cockpit For all configurations and customizations of the xrm1 Employee Cockpit, go to Settings --> Customizations --> Customize the System --> Entities --> xrm1 Employee Cockpit in your Microsoft Dynamics CRM. When you have finished your customizations, click on Save and Close and the on Publish All Customizations. Version Rollup 17 or higher 1 / 10

2.1 Adding and removing forms To add new form, go to Settings --> Customizations --> Customize the System --> Entites --> xrm1 Employee Cockpit --> Forms --> New. Select the form typ you would like to add. A new window opens. To remove a complete form, just mark the respective form, click on the X and confirm. Version Rollup 17 or higher 2 / 10

2.2 Adding and removing containers (fields) Now, existing containers (which include grids) can be easily moved from the list at the right side to a section by drag & drop. Then, by doubleclicking the container, the field properties can be easily adapted. To remove a container, just click on Remove in the Home section. If you do so, the removed container appears again in the list of fields at the right side. For your convenience, all containers can be used in all cockpits. You can mix them as you like. Dependencies between containers Employee Cockpit form: If you remove the ribbon bar (see below, area 1) from the Employee Cockpit form, no navigation and changings in the grid or the chart are possible. You can just view the grid. However, the ribbon of the Employee Cockpit form will work if the Calendar grid (see below, area 2) or the list of activities (see below, area 3) is removed. 1 2 3 Rapid Time Entry form: If you remove the Attendance grid (see below, area 1) from the Rapid Time Entry form, the last three lines of the Raid Time Entry container (see below, area 2) are removed as well. If you remove the Rapid Time Entry container (see below, area 3), the Quick Edit form (see below, area 4) on the right will also disappear. 3 4 2 1 Version Rollup 17 or higher 4 / 10

2.3 Sections and Tabs Sections and tabs are only used for arranging the containers, e. g. to put two containers next to each other, you have to select a section or tab with at least two columns. To add sections and tabs, go to the Insert section and select what you would like to add. To remove a section or tab, just click on Remove in the Home section. 2.4 Adapting views The grids in the xrm1 Employee Cockpid are based on saved queries (views). To find out the respective grids, go to Settings --> Customizations --> Customize the System --> xrm1 Employee Cockpit --> Fields. For those entries which schema name has the format xrm1_xxx, the view can be adapted. Version Rollup 17 or higher 5 / 10

If a view needs to be adapted, the customization has to be proceeded in the respective entity itself, not in the xrm1 Employee Cockpit. Thus, to do so, go to Settings --> Customizations --> Customize the System --> Entites --> ENTITY NAME --> Views. Then click on the view to be changed and customize. Don t forget to save and publish your customizations. Version Rollup 17 or higher 6 / 10

However, customizations of the above listed views are possible without any problem! 2.4.2 Specific behavior of the Rapid Time Entry Grid View For the Rendered Services that are created out of the Rapid Time Entry, the Rapid Time Entry View is used for customizations. All columns (=fields) of the Rendered Service appear in the Quick Edit view of the Rapid Time Entry (see below, area 2). The Regarding and Service columns are grouping and sort criteria and therefore appear in the grid. Columns (=fields) referring to the Regarding object (e.g. Owner of the project) appear in the Rapid Time Entry grid (see below, area 1), as they can be shown for the group of records. 1 2 2.5 Adding further content by using iframes You can add further content of your choice by using iframes. To do so, go to Settings --> Customizations --> Customize the System --> Entites --> xrm1 Employee Cockpit --> Forms. Doubleclick on the form you would like to change (e.g. Rapid Time Entry ). Then select IFRAME in the Insert section. Fill out the fields of the opening Add an IFRAME window. Field Value Remark Name URL Security: Restrict cross- frame scripting Visibility Choose a unique name for your iframe Enter the URL of the content you would like to show Mark as checked Mark as checked The name of the iframe must have the following format: IFRAME_ xxx, e.g. IFRAME_xrm1_work_schedule If the iframe page is not displayed properly, your web browser might prevent the depiction (CrossDomain policy) Needs to be checked that the content will be shown Version Rollup 17 or higher 9 / 10

When finished, click on OK, Save and Close and Publish All Customizations.
