Hardware platform Our Green VoIP processors combine industry-leading power consumption with the flexibility and processing capacity to handle any VoIP application. Delivering excellent performance at lower clock frequencies, they can save you as much as 2 W per desktop phone. These flexible solutions are based on a proven multi-core architecture. One processor manages the VoIP software, networking stack and user interface while dedicated DSPs handle the real-time audio and graphics algorithms. That architecture supports a modular system design concept that makes it easier for you to develop a range of products. In addition to the multiple cores on our VoIP processors, you ll find 32 khz analog codecs for wideband audio, Class D amplifiers for hands-free speaker phones and an integrated power management unit. You can also choose solutions with integrated DECT basebands plus Bluetooth and / or Wi-Fi interfacing, helping cut costs and speed development for attractive headsets and handsets. Each development kit comprises a motherboard containing a Dialog VoIP processor plus the hardware common to all applications. That includes memory components, an ethernet switch, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), a power adaptor, a handset, a microphone and a speakerphone.
