The following stipend amounts are paid on a one-time basis, regardless of base salary: Obtaining the CLAD/BCLAD certificate $ 1200.00 (As of July 1, 2010, the stipend shall be payable only to those employees initially hired from out of state.) Obtaining the Certificate of Completion of Staff Development $ 700.00 Contract Hourly Rate: Based upon.001 of Step 1 of the Salary Schedule Class on which the employee is placed for the following activities: NOTES: Extended Day (per period) Period Substitute District or school site meetings or trainings for which compensation is given Summer School (For Summer School teaching, the factor is applied to the Salary Schedule in effect at the beginning of summer school.) Home and Hospital Instruction is based upon.001 of Class I, Step 5. The stipend for ESL Coordinators will be determined by the number of LEP students enrolled at each school site every March 1 according to the R30-LC Language Census. Teachers may enter into an agreement to serve as a master teacher to a student teacher with a University or with the District.
