Foreign stocks You can trade foreign ordinaries stocks of foreign companies that trade in their local markets over the phone or online. American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) ADRs are securities that represent shares in a foreign stock and trade on U.S. exchanges in USD. You can place these trades at any time for execution during U.S. market hours. International mutual funds and ETFs We offer hundreds of no-transaction-fee mutual funds investing in foreign stocks through Schwab s Mutual Fund OneSource. We also offer exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that invest in global securities, including many that are available commission-free online, through Schwab ETF OneSource. 6 Foreign bonds 7 You can trade or custody foreign (Regulation S) bonds through Schwab.
