Currently he is Full Professor of Managerial Economics at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where he also holds the 'KBC Chair of Entrepreneurship', and part-time professor at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He has been visiting professor at New York University, University of California (Irvine), Bocconi University (Milan) and the Université de Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne). As expert consultant he has worked for the European Commission, World Bank, OECD, the Belgian government and major international companies.
