1. GENERAL The Lombardia Trophy 2014 is an International Competition. It will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2014, the ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Singles & Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2014 as well as all pertinent ISU Comunications. It is included in ISU Challenger Series in Figure Skating according to ISU communication 1876. TECHNICAL DATA All competition events and practice sessions will be held in Sesto San Giovanni at the Ice Rink Palasesto. The Ice Rink (28 mx58m) is indoor and heated. ENTRIES Each National Association may entry up to two (2) competitors for the Junior and Senior categories, the organizer reserves the right to enter more competitors in each category. 6. PANELS OF JUDGES Each invited Member entering the competitors is entitled to nominate one (1) Judge. The panel of Judges for Senior Ladies, Men, Pairs will consist of seven (7) Judges (on the list of the international Judges). The panel of Judges for Junior Ladies, Men, Pairs and Advance Novice Girls and Boys will consist of five (5) Judges (in the list of the international Judges). The Organizer will draw the panel of Judges after the closing of entries. The concerned Member will then be notified of the result of draw. The Organizing Member will pay board and accommodation expenses for all Judges. For all invited Referees, TS, TC and DRO, the organizer will pay travel, board and accommodation from dinner of 17 September to breakfast of 22 September. The Judges, Referees, TC, TS and DRO, acting in the ISU challenger events will receive remuneration according to ISU Communication 1858. 7. ACCOMODATION Participants, coaches and other Team members have to book accommodation individually. The organizing Committee will make the room arrangements only for invited TS, TC and DRO. 8. MUSIC AND PLANNED PROGRAM CONTENT SHEET All Competitors shall furnish competition music of excellent quality on CD format and all discs must show competitor s name, nation and the exact running time of the music (not skating time) and must be submitted at the time of accreditation. Each program (short program, free skating) must be recorded on one track and on a separate disc. In addition, competitors must provide a back-up disc for each program. The Program Content Sheet must be returned with the entry forms to the Organizing Committee in time and it must be filled in precisely by each skater in English using the Terminology for the elements listed in the respective ISU Communication. It is not permitted to hand over the Program Content Sheets directly to the acting Officials. 9. ACCREDITATION Accreditation will take place at the Ice Rink Palasesto piazza 1 Maggio Sesto San Giovanni from 17 September morning in Palasesto. 10. JUDGES MEETING Initial Judges meeting will take place at the Ice rink, in the morning of the day of the Short Program for each category. The RTD will take place as soon as possible after the conclusion of the competition for each category, but not later than noon the following day. 11. DRAWS Draws will take place, by computer, at the OC office after the closing of the entries. No draw after short programs. Starting/order, for free programs will be according the inverse of the results of short programs. Close of Entries: AUGUST 16th 2014 12. RESULTS The calculation of results will be done according to ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules Singles & Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2014. The competition results must be calculated according to the valid ISU Special Regulations Single & Pair Skating/Ice Dance, currently Rules 352 and 353. 13. AWARDS: The first three best placed competitors in each event will be awarded Medals at the end of the competition. 5 Lombardia Trophy 2014
14. LIABILITY: According to the rule 119 the Organizing Committee accepts no liability for bodily and personal injury, or for property loss or damage incurred by Competitors and Officials. Each ISU Members expected to provide its own insurance protection. The O.C. will provide emergency medical services for all invited Officials and Competitors during the competition. 15. ISU CHALLENGER SERIES: The Lombardia Trophy is part of the ISU Challenger Series in Figure Skating 2014. As a consequence of this will be conducted in accordance with additional requirements as outlined in ISU Communication 1858 in terms of ISU World Standing Points, Minimum Total Technical Score, ISU Challenger Series Ranking, Prize Money for the final Challenger Series Ranking and officials remuneration. 6 Lombardia Trophy 2014
