We are recognized for its ability to support and enhance broadcast television, corporate productions, documentaries, tv commercials and features. We provides a broad scope of services under one unique umbrella, therefore affording our clients the advantage and convenience of dealing with a single vendor to coordinate all their production or convention needs. We offers HD up/down/cross conversion, standards conversion, aspect ratio conversion, tape duplications, disc copying and broadcast equipment rental. RENTAL AGREEMENT DEFINITONS THE HIRER means the person, firm, company, representative of a firm or company, or other individual hiring equipment from A & T STUDIO. This is a rental of the equipment, accessories and/or services (collectively referred to as equipment ) described on the agreement and not a sale, conditional or otherwise. HIRE RATES - SEVEN (7) consecutive days are charged as FIVE (5) days. ONE MONTH or THIRTY (30) consecutive days will be charge as EIGHTEEN (15) days. Minimum ONE (1) day rental. - A rental day, consist of 4:00pm pick up a day prior to rental and return to A & T STUDIO no later than 10:00am the day after the rental. INSURANCE - THE HIRER shall provide and maintain ALL RISK property insurance covering all equipment rented hereunder for full replacement cost ( new for old, with out deduction for depreciation or allowance for alleged betterment ) and loss of rental value, from the date of this agreement until the equipment is returned to A & T STUDIO inventory. - Insurance shall name A & T STUDIO as loss payee, and expressly provide that A & T STUDIO rights shall not be affected by any act or neglect or breach of condition by THE HIRER. - A copy of your ALL RISK insurance policy must be presented to us before the rental commences. If you do not have a suitable policy, we can arrange cover upon request (Singapore only) at our discretion. - THE HIRER shall, at its expense, insure all equipment rented and must provide A & T STUDIO with a valid certificate of insurance prior to the rental. TRAVELLING OVERSEAS - Each travelling days will be charged at 50% of the total rental charge. - THE HIRER shall not take the equipment outside Singapore without prior written permission of A & T STUDIO. THE HIRER must agree to further terms and conditions, and additional charges relating to overseas use. - When travelling out of Singapore, all risk, worldwide coverage for all equipment in transit/shipping. Include continued use of coverage as rental charges accrue until insurance claims are settled in FULL. - In addition to rental charges, THE HIRER shall be responsible for any loss or damage, confiscated or held by customs or government bodies to the equipment from any cause or whatsoever occurring after the delivery to THE HIRER. - THE HIRER shall responsible for all taxes, duty, levy, other expense paid or payable to A & T STUDIO to any government or government authority in respect of the use of equipment rented. COLLECTING / RETURNING - THE HIRER shall be responsible for collecting and returning the equipment rented to-and-from A & T STUDIO by a suitable and safe means of transport within normal business hours. - Upon expiration or early termination of the rental, THE HIRER shall return the equipment rented and all accessories (including manuals, connectors, cables, etc ) to A & T STUDIO in same condition as at the delivery to THE HIRER, ordinary wear and tear accepted. - THE HIRER is liable for any damage to or destruction of equipment from any cause whatsoever (including the acts whether negligent or not, of any person) from the time the equipment leaves A & T STUDIO premises to when it is returned. - Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Non-business hours openings are subject to labor charges. WARRANTY - A & T STUDIO does not warranty, and shall not be responsible for any loss of data or information from any Digital Media (SxS/SD/CF/AXS card or External Hard Disk/Flash Recorder), regardless of the cause of the loss. - A & T STUDIO shall not liable for any losses caused by defects or deficiencies of equipment or failure to supply equipment. - A & T STUDIO reserves the rights to substitute alternative equipment to the reserved by THE HIRER at any time prior to or during the period of rental. PAYMENT - THE HIRER must pay the rental charge upon collection of equipment from A & T STUDIO unless THE HIRER has a credit account with A & T STUDIO. Please note that rental charge cannot be applied to a purchase. Ownership of equipment shall at all times remain in A & T STUDIO. - Unless otherwise specified in the schedules or agreed to by A & T STUDIO, terms of payment are C.O.D or Company cheque. A & T STUDIO reserves the right to review, approve or refuse THE HIRER s application(s) for credit. - THE HIRER shall pay the deposit if and when required by A & T STUDIO which will be forfeited to A & T STUDIO if THE HIRER breaches any of these terms and conditions. GENERAL - THE HIRER must provide an identity card including full name and address in Singapore. A & T STUDIO reserves the rights to terminate the rental if THE HIRER failed to provide an identity. - THE HIRER must take all reasonable precautions for the safety and security of the equipment and protect it from all climatic and atmospheric conditions. - THE HIRER acknowledges that it has examined the equipment and it is in good working condition. Any defects or complaint not lodged immediately after the occurrence of the matter complaint of, will not be entertained. - A & T STUDIO cannot responsible for THE HIRER s failure to operate the equipment properly. THE HIRER understands that the equipment rented will be used by well trained, motion picture/broadcast industry professionals in a skilful and proper manner, and within the capacity for which it is designed. - THE HIRER shall not at all time dismantle the equipment for internal enhancement or modification without seeking the approval from A & T STUDIO. - THE HIRER shall not part with possession of the same or otherwise sublet, sub-hire, assign, mortgage, charge or pledge the equipment of its right under this agreement to any person or corporation without prior written consent of A & T STUDIO. - Early pick-up and late returning for the equipment must be arranged at time of booking. - The rental charge commences from the time the equipment leaves A & T STUDIO and terminates when the equipment is returned there. Late returns are subject to additional day rate charge. - A & T STUDIO reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental charge otherwise chargeable for cancellation of confirmed bookings if notification is less than 48 hours from date of booking. - All prices listed in Singapore Dollars and based on per day basis, exclude taxes, delivery and insurance. Long-term rates are available and must be discussed and confirmed prior to bookings.
