Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the Orthopaedic Department of Ioannina University Hospital from May 1995 to May 1999. During the last year of my residency, I have also received training in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Neurosurgery (6 months each), in the respective Departments of the University Hospital of Ioannina. Since May 1999 until May 2000 I did my fellowship in the Sportsmedicine Field in Germany in the ATOS Klinikzentrum für Knie und Fusschirurgie (Center for Knee and Foot Surgery) in Heidelberg- Germany, headed by Dr. Hans Pässler and Professor Hajo Thermann.

From January 2001 until November 2001 I did my fellowship (in Upper extemity and Knee Arthroscopy) in the Orthopaedic Center of Mount Vernon IL, USA, (a center approved by the ISAKOS for fellowships in arthroscopic surgery) headed by Clinical Professor James C. Chow.
