Signatureless applications if authorised, you can apply for Macquarie Bank Term Deposits on your client s behalf without the need for a client signature, simply enter your Macquarie Access Code (MAC) and password. Generate an account number online Applicable for: new and existing cash clients Apply for: Macquarie CMA and Cash XL Complete an online form and an account number is automatically issued, allowing your clients to make deposits immediately. The signed application form and supporting documentation can be submitted at a later date. 2. Online application Applicable for: new and existing cash clients Apply for: Macquarie CMA and Cash XL To save time, you can pre-populate your client s personal details from their existing cash account, answer a few additional questions and then enter your client s investment details. An account number will then be generated and the account will be opened upon receipt of the application form and any required supporting documentation. 3. Online Term Deposit application Applicable for: existing cash clients Apply for: Term Deposit You can replicate your client s existing cash account details to create a new Term Deposit account. Simply answer a few questions and enter your client s investment details. An application reference number will then be generated and the Term Deposit will be opened upon receipt of the application form and any required documentation. Macquarie Adviser Services

Signatureless Term Deposit application Applicable for: existing Macquarie CMA clients who have granted Limited Third Party Authority (LTPA) Apply for: Term Deposit Our LTPA option allows your Macquarie CMA clients to authorise you to establish Term Deposits on their behalf. Once authorised, you can submit their application online without a client signature it s seamless and efficient. Your clients can authorise you to open Term Deposits on their behalf by completing the Adviser Limited Third Party Authorisation form. To access this form please visit your.clients@macquarie select administration from the left hand menu and then select forms and click on the Adviser Limited Third Party Authorisation form under Download. 5. New Term Deposit clients (interactive PDF) Generate an account number online Use the online account number generator: To open: Macquarie CMA Cash XL When you have: The applicant and investment details for a new or existing client 1. Select Macquarie Cash Management Account or Macquarie Cash XL Check the box to confirm if your client is a resident of Australia. Click on generate an account number only and click on start. Applicable for: new clients Apply for: Term Deposit For new Term Deposit clients who do not already hold a Macquarie cash account you can download an interactive PDF application form. Simply, complete and print the form, obtain your client s signature and return to us with any required additional documentation. How to complete the application You can complete the application using one of the options below: Click on pending applications from the left hand menu, select the corresponding account from the list and click on edit to complete the full application Complete the application form attached to the Product Information Statement and quote the account number at the top of the form. 3

Select the services you want attached to the account Specify the services the client would like on the account (eg cheque book or third party authority access). 2. Enter your client s account details Confirm your dealer and adviser details, and select the type of account you are opening (eg a self managed super fund). 5. Update and review Review the application and make any necessary changes. Click on generate to create an account number and application pack. 4
6. Acknowledgment The acknowledgement provides you with your client s new account number and BSB, so your client can make deposits immediately. You can also include any special instructions such as reference codes provided to you by Macquarie. Then click continue. Signatureless Term Deposit application Use the online signatureless application: To open: Term Deposit When you have: Limited Third Party Authority to open Term Deposits The applicant and investment details for an existing Macquarie CMA client 1. Select Macquarie Term Deposit Account Check the box to confirm your client is a resident of Australia. Select Create an online application form for a client with an existing cash account. Click start. 4. Acknowledgement The acknowledgment provides you with an application reference number for you to monitor the progression of your application under pending applications on the left hand navigation menu. Click print checklist and application form to download and print a copy of the application form for your client to sign. The account will be opened on receipt of a signed application form and any required documentation. Note: Term Deposit application forms must be received within five days. Your client will receive the interest rate applicable on the day the account is opened after all account opening conditions have been satisfied. 6
2. Select an existing account to replicate Search for a Macquarie CMA to replicate on the investment details page. Check the signature required column, if it says no you can submit a signatureless application. If it says yes you can continue to submit your application but will be given a PDF application which requires your client to sign. If your account says no continue by entering account and investment details and then select continue. 4. Adviser Declaration Your MAC will be pre-populated, please enter your password and tick the acknowledgement box and finally select complete to submit the application. Important: once you press the complete button the Term Deposit application will be submitted for processing and cannot be cancelled. 3. Update and Review Review the application and make any required changes. You can also include any special instructions such as reference codes provided to you by Macquarie. Then click continue. 5. Acknowledgement The acknowledgment provides you with an application reference number for you to monitor the progress of your application under pending applications on the left hand navigation menu. To download a copy of the application for your records click display confirmation of application. Your client will receive the interest rate applicable on the day the account is opened after all account opening conditions have been satisfied. 7

Select download an application for a new client. Click start. Application Tips Current rates Current rates for all Macquarie cash products are available on the your.clients@macquarie homepage. Application templates For Macquarie CMA and Cash XL you can set up application templates in the online application service. This will save you time by pre-populating those common fields for services your clients require. When creating an online application you can choose a template on the account details section of the application. To set up a new template select apply for a new account online from the left hand menu and then click templates. Save it for later You can save an online application at any point by clicking on save and close located at the bottom of each screen. Retrieve it by selecting pending applications. You can also view pending applications on the admin alerts section found on the your.clients@macquarie homepage. 2. Enter applicant and investment details An interactive PDF application form will open in a new screen. Enter your client s details in the PDF form and print the form for your client to sign. Bulk applications We have a bulk account transfer service designed to make the transition of multiple clients into Macquarie cash products as smooth as possible. For further information please call 1800 005 056. 3. Complete the application The account will be opened on receipt of a signed application form and any required documentation. Your client will receive the interest rate applicable on the day the account is opened after all account opening conditions have been satisfied.
