Can pilots see a Drone? Agairupdate.com Ag Pilot test Oct 12, 2015 Colorado Ag Aviation Association Airmap www.airmap.io Airspace restrictions http://www.agairupdate.com/article_detail.php?_k p_serial=00002645 http://www.coagav.org/caaa-news/27?view=blog 5 pilots (4 fixed wing and 1 Rotor Copter ) UAV 28 inches and 66 lbs over one field
One 1 pilot out of 5 could see the UAV But could not find it the second time! Pilots we knew UAVs would be difficult to see, but it turns out they re more difficult to see than we thought. It s clear that it will take a cultural change on both our parts [ag aviators and UAS operators] if we re going to work cooperatively in the airspace
