Eligibility for Benefits App Fee Waiver: All new applicants are eligible for application fee waiver Tuition Discount: Current and new students are eligible for tuition discount Discount is for out-of-state tuition only Residency/Military status: Students who meet the criteria for Maryland residency and active duty military and their spouses receive the regular UMUC rates 9
Eligibility for Benefits All undergraduate programs are eligible All graduate programs are eligible for the discount except the MBA, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation, executive, and doctoral programs Employees must verify their employment, and spouses and dependents must verify their status to be eligible for the application fee waiver and discount UMUC uses the IRS definitions of spouse and dependent 10
