Teachers who, as of January 2011, receive a longevity supplement will continue to receive $3,390 (20 years) or $7,030 (25 years). Teachers who were eligible to receive the 20-year supplement as of September 2011, will receive the supplement amount of $3,390; this is the last cohort of teachers who will be eligible for the longevity supplement. Teachers who previously would have been eligible in the future for the increased 25-year supplement amount will continue to receive the 20-year amount. As was previously decided, teachers hired after March 26, 2009, are not eligible for longevity payments regardless of the years of teaching experience. Subject to School Board revision. 1
