Tariff Applicable from 1st May 2005 Tariff is given under two categories: 1. High Speed Data Circuit of 2 Mbps & above. Ref:BSNL Lr.4-3/2005-R&C Dt 11/05/2005 2. High Speed Data Circuit below 2 Mbps i.e. 3. 64 Kbps Classical & 64 Kbps MLLN Circuits. BSNL Lr DT 05/01/2006

Points to remember-2mbps and above. 1) Tariff is given for Chargeable Distance 5 to 500 kms. 2) For Local leads 3 way charging principle applicable. 3) No additional charge for local lead if Distance > 500 Kms AND Capacity / Bandwidth is 45 Mbps and above 4) When the circuit is provided on MLLN System NTU charge is to be billed, if MLLN Modem is provided by BSNL 5) Modem rent Rs 10000/- per annum for 2Mbps V35/G703 type and Rs.18000/- for 2Mbps Ethernet.

High Speed Data Circuits N*64Mbps Tariff for capacity ranging from 128 Kbps to 1 Mbps is arrived at by multiplying the tariff for leased circuit of 64 Kbps by the Co-efficient given in the tariff letter; subject to Maximum of respective distance slabs of 2 Mbps rates. Separate tariff given for Local Circuit / Local lead 1 Km to 4 Km in r/o 64 Kbps Classical Circuit Local Lead 1 Km to 15 Km in r/o 64 Kbps MLLN Local Circuit NTU charges Rs.3500/- for 64Kbps and Rs.5000/- for n*64 Kbps per annum.-(bsnl Lr Dt 5/01/2006)

State Wide Area Network (SWAN) BSNL will provide OFC without any additional cost for POPs which have an aggregated BW of minimum 10 Mbps (5x2 Mbps) State Government has to give a commitment that it will procure entire BW from BSNL for a period of 5 years. Discount of 74% on main channel is allowed Discount of Local Lead @ 30% is allowed on the total local lead charges for SWAN projects Discounts are allowed only if the State Government does not charge for ROW BSNL HQ No.112-422004-Comml dt. 29.1.2007
MPLS - VPN Service MPLS is an acronym for Multi Protocol Label Switching MPLS based VPNs reduce customer networking complexity, costs and totally do away with the requirement of in-house technical work force. It is a cutting edge technology which offers data rates that can be increased from 64kbps to 155 Mbps. It provides absolute security through exclusive labeled path for transacting business using this network

Billing Aspects Circuits are billed annually in advance as per the annual billing cycle of SSA. Now customer can opt for quarterly billing of circuits as per order dated 5.9.2001 and 18.11.2003 In respect of new customers opting for quarterly billing from 1st year itself, undertaking for minimum period of hiring of the leased line for one year to be obtained. Since there is no integrated commercial and billing package for leased circuits, monitoring of receipt of completed advice note is to be ensured through maintaining of advice note registers. This will avoid non billing of circuits.
SINGLE WINDOW BILLING MOU ENTERED WITH THE COMPANY CONCERNED. THIS IS TO FACILITATE THE SINGLE POINT INTERACTION FOR ALL CUSTOMER TRANSACTION. THIS IS ONE OF THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY.
RECONCILIATION OF CIRCUITS With reference to: Commercial records Exchange records Accounts records
COMMON DISCREPENCIES IN RECONCILIATION NON RECEIPT OF COMPLETED A/NS RESULTING IN NOT BILLING DUE TO UPGRADATION DUE TO TEMPORARY STATUS DUE TO DNP UPDATION
DIFFICULTIES FACED UNDER SINGLE WINDOW BILLING Non receipt of completed A/Ns Non receipt of working cct details from other stations. Difficulties faced during upgradation. Realization of outstanding.
