WELCOME TO PARADISE Back in 2014 we set out to create the best 10 day Thailand tour available. We took all of the feedback from our travellers and combined it with more than 10 years of travel experience to create the Ultimate 10 Day Thailand Tour. We believed that the tour we had created was so good that it even deserved its own brand; we named it Stippus. This short guide will tell you all you everything you can expect from the tour and you will see just how much you will fit into 10 days. D AY 1 - B A N G K O K ARRIVAL DAY Fly into Bangkok s Suvarnabhumi airport and prepare for your first day of adventure! Arrive anytime between 6am and 10pm for your free airport pick up where one of our friendly guides will meet you and get you to your accommodation. Arrive before 4pm so that you don't miss out on your first night out on Khao San Road, the backpacker mecca of Bangkok. You will meet the rest of your group and your guide for your first taste of Bangkok street food, bars and buckets of cocktails. You may also get to try a variety of cooked insects if you feel brave enough! Your first night will definitely be one to remember.
D AY 2 - B A N G K O K BANGKOK TOUR & NIGHT OUT After a good nights rest you will meet your new friends and your guide for a morning orientation and your official welcome to Bangkok. After finding out some more about the local customs, culture and what s in store for the day, its time to see the main sites of Bangkok. Canals (or khlongs as they are known locally), aweinspiring temples, historic monuments, and even get to taste some more delicious Thai food - the complete Bangkok experience! After a days sightseeing you can take a quick rest, or maybe a traditional massage, then we take you away from the usual tourist night spots and introduce you to the real Bangkok nightlife where the locals hang out.
DAY 3 - BANGKOK FREE DAY IN BANGKOK Your transfer to Koh Samui isn t until 9pm so you will have the whole day to explore Bangkok on your own. This is an incredible opportunity to get what you want from the city; seek out the incredible street art, go shopping in the local markets, hop from gallery to gallery, wander down side streets, explore the world's biggest China Town, take a ride in a tuk-tuk or marvel at the amazing shopping malls. There are an unbelievable amount of things to do and see in Bangkok and you ll have a busy day ahead if you want to experience it all. Bangkok is one of the greatest cities in the world; a playground where there is fun to be had around every corner. Bring your camera, you re going to make a lot of memories.
DAY 4 - KOH SAMUI ARRIVAL & FREE TIME Arriving around mid-morning on day 4 it s time for sun, sea, sand, and chilled island vibes. There will be beach bars, pool parties, luscious views and more. Koh Samui is a fun-lovers paradise and has a wide variety of activities, from water sports to great clubbing and even a stunning rain forest to explore. Food is a huge part of what makes Thailand special and Koh Samui has its own unique tastes and delights. Eat at one of the many beachside BBQ restaurants while you sit with your toes in the sand and watch the sun set over the water. Not only will this island paradise be your home for the next few days but your guide will also make sure you have the time of your life too.
DAY 5 - KOH SAMUI FREE TIME More free time in paradise! Spend your free time on the island however you like; but here s some inspiration to get you thinking - catch a Muay Thai fight at the local stadium, visit a stunning natural waterfall, snorkel in the clear warm waters, visit a Big Buddha Temple, see a real mummified monk, check out the local fisherman s village, or maybe just drink a beer (or a fresh coconut) on the beach and celebrate life! Whatever you decide to do make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen, it s nearly always hot in paradise.
DAY 6 - ANG THONG ANG THONG MARINE PARK TOUR Explore the jagged jungle islands of Ang Thong Marine Park and be transported to a secluded paradise. Featuring lime stone cliffs, secret lagoons and beautiful peach coloured sands, Ang Thong is going to leave you breathless. Spend the day hanging out, soaking up the sun or exploring. There s plenty to see both on land and in the crystal clear emerald waters. As the sun dips below the horizon and the sand starts too cool down you will be ferried back to Koh Samui. Your sandy footsteps may be washed away as the tide comes in but the memories of Ang Thong will last a lifetime.
DAY 7 - TRANSFER CHECK OUT OF KOH SAMUI AND TAKE A BOAT TO KOH PHANGAN! Set sail from the paradise of Koh Samui and prepare for fun and adventure at sea! Your boat will leave at around lunch time so you will have the morning to make the most of your last hours on Koh Samui. Then it s all aboard as you head to your next destination: Koh Phangan. When you arrive on Koh Phangan you will be met with sandy beaches, warm waters and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Equal parts laid back and party central, Koh Phangan is your time to let loose and celebrate life, love and adventure!
DAY 8 - KOH PHANGAN MOON PARTY The big day arrives and it s time to prepare for one of the biggest beach parties you have ever seen. We would suggest having a very lazy day on the beautiful Koh Phangan so that you have enough energy to dance the night away later. Grab the fluorescent body paints, the neon t- shirts and perhaps some Red Bull for good measure - then head out together to party on the beach under the moon. For many people, this will be the best part of the trip. If you like to party then the famous moon party on Koh Phangan is hard to beat. And if partying isn t really your thing then don t worry, because it s a great place to meet new people or enjoy spending time with others in your group.
DAY 9 - KOH PHANGAN FREE TIME Everywhere you turn in Koh Phangan you will see white sand beaches, blue skies and clear waters. If Koh Samui was paradise then Koh Phangan must be heaven! Koh Phangan has some of the most incredible beaches in Thailand so find your place in the sand and relax. If relaxing isn t your kind of thing then there are all the usual water sports such as kayaking and snorkelling. Or, if you are looking for a bit of adventure then why not take a hike up to one of the many excellent viewpoints on the island for a breathtaking panoramic selfie? As evening closes in grab yourself a cocktail or a coconut and enjoy the good vibes.
DAY 10 - KOH PHANGAN FREE TIME This is it, the end of your 10 day adventure. There might be tears, there will definitely be hugs, and there might be a few Facebook friend requests coming your way. One of the things that we love about the 10 day Thailand tour is that it brings people together from all over the world and creates incredible new friendships. Sure, it might sound corny but what could be better than connecting with people over travel experiences? Spend your last day with your new friends and go your separate ways, or Why not stay longer? We offer a number of trip extensions at great low-cost rates.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO WHAT VISA DO I NEED? - For most people coming to Thailand they will need a VISA. Requirements change all the time so to get the most up to date information you should contact the Thailand embassy in your country. Residents of many countries, such as the UK, will get a 30 day visa on arrival and don t need to apply for one beforehand. If you are unsure then it is always best to check because it s quick, easy and offers piece of mind. DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE? - YES! Travel insurance is optionl but we do strongly advise that you get some coverage for your trip. We take all the precautions that we can to minimise your risk while traveling but you should cover yourself for loss, theft and your health. We don t offer travel insurance but there are many companies online that could cover you during your trip.
