People who choose this specialization are typically pursuing careers as school psychologists, diagnosticians, crisis specialists, or program evaluators in schools, but may also seek employment in other educational settings. Achieve eligibility for professional training at the advanced level Acquire a broad body of knowledge in theories of school psychology Prepare for school psychology practice by acquiring skills Gain practical experience applying knowledge of theory and acquired skills under the supervision of experienced practitioners, both during doing the dissertation and at the time of study Implement research methodologies in order to carry out in-depth, ethical investigation of relevant topics Offers a wide selection of other optional topics, both theory and pragmatic, covering the entire spectrum Duration of the course Two years external, distance learning or online education (24 months) Requirement for Admission 10+2+3/ 4 years of formal study A three year graduate degree in psychology or related subjects or two years post graduate degree in psychology or allied subjects.
