03 THE NUS HEC PARIS DOUBLE DEGREE MBA PROGRAMME STRUCTURE At HEC Paris, European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) is a standardised means of computing and transferring credits across programmes. At NUS, 1 Modular Credit (MC) is equivalent to 1.5 ECTS. Total Modular Credits (HEC) 47 MCs (70 ECTS) Total Modular Credits (NUS) 56 MCs (84 ECTS) Total Modular Credits (from HEC & NUS) 103 MCs (154 ECTS) PROGRAMME SCHEDULES You can choose to start your MBA programme at NUS Business School or at HEC Paris. STARTING AT NUS BUSINESS SCHOOL Students starting the double degree at NUS shall complete the core modules of the NUS MBA at NUS and undertake 2 elective courses linked to the HEC core modules (Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management) and participate in the Conference Sustainable Development (linked to HEC core module Sustainable Business Strategy) whilst at HEC. Students will complete a specialised Track in Period 3 and a project option in Period 4 at HEC. Students should not repeat electives that are substantially similar across the two MBA programmes. Language courses are a requirement for MBA students at HEC. Students can place out of these and earn the credits if they are deemed trilingual including French (determined by examination). 04 THE NUS HEC PARIS DOUBLE DEGREE MBA STARTING AT HEC PARIS A student commencing the double degree at HEC shall complete the core modules of the HEC MBA at HEC and complete the following core modules of the NUS MBA whilst at NUS: DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMME for students starting at HEC Paris in September: Asia Pacific Business Leadership in Organisation Managing Operations SEMESTER 4 Jan-mid May Special Terms May-Jun-Jul PERIOD 1 Sep-Dec Students who choose to specialise at NUS shall complete at least 24 MCs in a particular area whilst at NUS. Students should not repeat electives that are substantially similar across the two MBA programmes. ENGAGE, 05 ENRICH, EMPOWER 05 THE NUS HEC MBA LEE PARIS KUAN DOUBLE YEW DEGREE SCHOOLMBA OF PUBLIC POLICY DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMME APPLICATION GUIDELINES The NUS-HEC Paris Double Degree Entry Requirements Bachelor s degree 3 years full time work experience Good GMAT score Good TOEFL/IELTS/PTE score (if medium of instruction in undergraduate studies was not English) TOEFL: Minimum score of 260 for computer-based test, 620 for paper-based test and 100 for internet-based test IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5 PTE: Minimum score of 68 HOW SHOULD I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION? Applicants applying for this double degree programme have to complete the online forms and requirements of both NUS () and HEC Paris (www.mba.hec.edu). Admission to this double degree programme is conditional on gaining admissions from both Schools. For the NUS MBA, the following documents are required: Resume A copy of degree scroll A copy of undergraduate transcripts A copy of GMAT results A copy of TOEFL/IELTS/PTE results (if medium of instruction in undergraduate studies was not English) Two referee reports (online or hard copies) Applicants will have to state which School they would like to commence the double degree programme by informing the respective admissions staff of each School. Both Schools practice a rolling admission exercise. Only one set of referee reports and GMAT test score need be sent to one of the two Schools as these supporting documents will be shared. Access to the double degree is finalised by the Academic results of the student s first year. The minimum GPA achieved for outgoing HEC students to be accepted is 3.5/4; the minimum CAP for outgoing NUS students to be accepted is 3/5. WHAT ARE THE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE? The NUS-HEC Paris Double Degree MBA Programme offers need- and merit-based scholarships.
