Care & Maintenance 1. This product frame is manufactured according to ASTM-F833, nationally recognized standards and is also JPMA certified. To ensure the safety of your product, the moving components and pivot points must be lubricated regularly. Note: Use only sili con-oil or sili con-spray for lubricating this stroller. 2. Regular care and maintenance help contribute to the safety and l ongevity of your product; environmental influences and outdoor storage could cause corrosion. Therefore, always store your stroller indoors. Do not keep the stroller in a damp, cold, or hot place. 3. We recommend regular maintenance of the frame and fabrics. Should the frame and fabrics become soiled, use a damp cloth and mild detergent to wipe away the dirt. Do not use abrasives or solvents. 4. Never force any folding or adjustable parts. 5. Ensure that all locking devices are correctly engaged before use. 6. Regularly check the unit to ensure that no parts are loose or broken. Page 3

Stroller Assembly 1. Carefully remove stroller and all parts from the box and plastic bag. 2. Discard all packaging materials properly. 3. Remove all plastic coverings from areas of the product and discard. 4. DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials and contents. 5. Unfolding the Stroller. To unfold the stroller, position the stroller with the handle bar closest to you. Keep children away from the stroller while unfolding. Release the locking latch located on the right side by lifting the lever from the chassis. See Figure 1. Lift up slightly on the handle of the stroller. Next, pull up and back on the handle while pushing the frame of the stroller forward until both side frame bars snap into their locking positions in the frame. See Figures 2 and 3. 1 Hook 2 3 Page 5

Stroller Assembly 6. Attaching the Front Wheels. Insert the front wheels into the tube of the frame until you hear a click. Repeat for other wheel. Pull to confirm it is assembled securely. See Figure 4. 7. Assembling the Rear Wheels. Ensure that the brake is engaged (see Functions section). Push the rear axle into the rear wheel receiving location at the back of the stroller. See Figure 5. Affix the wheel onto the axle. Next, place the washer and wheel cap over both rear wheels and secure tightly. Finally, affix the hubcap over the wheel and washer and wheel hub and secure tightly. Pull to confirm that the rear wheels are assembled securely. See Figure 6. 8. Attaching Footrest. Snap footrest onto front legs of stroller just below the seat. Push downward on the footrest until it locks into place. See Figure 7. 4 5 6 Footrest support 7 Rivet Page 6

Stroller Assembly 9. Attaching Child Tray. Insert the ends of the child tray into receiving points on the stroller. Check that the tray is securely latched in place. See Figure 8. 10. Attaching Parent Tray. Fit the parent tray in the upright position at the top of the handle bar below the grip. See Figure 9. 11. Attaching the Canopy. Position the canopy on the stroller with the sun visor toward the front of the stroller. Line up the male fittings with the female fittings near the center of the stroller and push downward until the fittings snap into place. Pull upward on the canopy sides to be sure both are snapped securely into place. See Figure 10. 8 9 10 Page 7

Functions 1. Front Swivel Locks. The front wheels can be either in the swivel mode or locked mode. To put front wheels in locked mode, first pull down the lever and rotate each wheel so that the wheels are pointed straight forward. To put front wheels in swivel mode, pull up the lever and release the lock. See Figure 11. 2. Engaging the Brakes. Before placing the child into the stroller or removing them from the stroller, be certain that the rear wheel brakes are engaged. To engage rear brakes, push down on the brake lever located on each rear wheel. Check that the brakes are properly applied by trying to push the stroller backward and forward. 3. Releasing the Brakes. Position foot underneath brake levers and lift upwards. See Figure 12. 4. Removing Child Tray. Locate the buttons on the base of the child tray joint. Press buttons and remove the child tray from the stroller. 11 12 Page 8

Functions 5. Adjusting the Canopy. To open the canopy, pull forward on the front edge of the canopy while holding the back edge in place. Once the canopy is fully opened, push down on BOTH side hinges to lock it in the open position. The canopy with rotate forward or backward to help block the sun. Pull forward or backward to rotate the canopy as needed. To remove the canopy, engage rear brake and pull forward both sides of canopy female fittings until the canopy disengages from the frame. 6. Handle Bar Adjustment. Locate the push buttons on the sides of the handle bar. Press buttons simultaneously and adjust the handle bar to the desired height. See Figure 13. 7. Seat Recline. The front seat has a 2-position seat recline. To recline the seat, locate the handle at the back of the seat unit. Lift the bar while gripping the seat back simultaneously. Raise or lower as needed. See Figure 14. 13 14 Page 9

Functions WARNING The rear stand-on platform and the rear bench seat are designed for a child that is at least a 2 ½ years old but LESS than 40 inches tall and no more than 45 lbs. Use of the stroller with child in the front seat weighing more than 40 lbs and a child in the rear weighing more than 45 lbs, or children totaling more than 85 lbs, will cause excessive wear and tear on the stroller and may cause a hazardous, unstable, and unsafe condition. NEVER use this stroller to carry more than 2 children at the same time. NEVER allow a standing child to use the canopy as a handle. 8. Using the Stand-On Platform. Push the rear seat to its most forward position. Position the canopy to its most forward position. Position the child on the platform on the back of the stroller facing forward with BOTH hands on the rear handles. Be sure that BOTH of the child s feet are fully on the platform at all times. You may need to adjust the position of the front seat back to allow more room for the child to stand. See Figure 15. 15 Page 10

Functions 9. Using the Rear Seat Bench. Push the rear seat to its most rear position. Position the canopy to its most forward position. Position the child on the bench seat facing backward with their feet on the platform with BOTH hands on the rear handles. Be sure that BOTH of the child s feet are fully on the platform at all times. You may need to adjust the position of the front seat back to allow more room for the child to sit comfortably. Adjust the seat belt to be snug around the child s waist by placing the crotch strap between the child s legs and bringing the seat belt around child s waist. Ensure they snap into place. See Figures 16 & 17. 16 17 Page 11

Fitting the Harness WARNING Never leave child unattended. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use seat belt. Check frequently to make sure it is secure. Belts must be threaded exactly as shown. Failure to follow these instructions could result in the serious injury or death of your child. 1. To Use the Restraint System. Place your child in the stroller, with the crotch strap between the child s legs. Fit clips together. Slide clips into buckle until you hear a click. See Figure 18. 2. Tighten the harness. Install Infant Car Seat- Mia Moda Viva 1. Before fitting the car seat, apply the brake, fully recline the seat and push the canopy back. Remove the child tray (refer to Functions section). See Figure 21. 2. Slide the Universal Car Seat Adaptor bar into the receiving slots located on the frame tube. Make sure the Universal Car Seat Adaptor bar locks into place before attaching the car seat. See Figure 22. 3. The Mia Moda infant car seat has tabs located below the handle on each side, which fit into the attachment points on the armrests. Lower the car seat in a REAR FACING POSITION. See Figure 23. 4. Ensure that both tabs are inserted correctly before proceeding. 21 22 23 Page 13

Install Infant Car Seat- Mia Moda Viva 6. Use the carrier restraining straps to buckle the seat through the seat belt slots on your car seat. Adjust the straps so they are tight around the carrier but AWAY from the child's neck. See Figure 24 and 25. 7. Gently tug on the car seat to check that it is secure. 24 8. When you remove the infant carrier from the stroller, be sure to replace the restraining straps back into their storage compartment. 25 Page 14

Install Infant Car Seat- Other Manufacturer WARNING Avoid serious injury from falling. Do NOT use the Universal Car Seat Adaptor if it is not securely locked onto both sides of the stroller. Always install the infant carrier in a REAR FACING POSITION. Always position the infant carrier so that it is resting on the seatback, but NOT on top of the seat back. NEVER position the carrier restraining straps on or near the child s neck as this may result in strangulation. 1. Recline the front seat back. Remove the child tray. See Figure 26. 2. Slide Universal Car Seat Adaptor bar into the receiving slots located on the frame tube. Make sure the Universal Car Seat Adaptor bar locks into place before attaching the car seat. See Figure 27. 26 27 3. Place car seat onto front bar in a REAR FACING POSITION. Use the carrier restraining straps to buckle the seat through the seat belt slots on your car seat. Install Infant Car Seat- Other Manufacturer 4. When you remove the infant carrier from the stroller, be sure to replace the restraining straps back into their storage compartment. Folding the Stroller Do not allow children near stroller while folding. 1. Remove any infant carrier that has been installed. 2. Close the canopy and push it to its most forward position. See Figure 31. 31 3. Position the stroller with the handle bar closest to you. 4. Make sure both rear brakes are set to their locked positions. 5. To fold, slide the safety latch button in the center of the handle and squeeze the handle while pushing forward on the handle. Once the stroller begins to fold, release the handle and pull upward on the child tray until the stroller is folded. See Figures 32-33. 6. Secure the stroller by latching the chassis lock, located on the right side of the stroller handle. You may have to rotate the wheels to fold the stroller completely. See Figure 34. 32 34 33 Page 17

Folding the Stroller 7. The Compagno stroller comes with convenient carry handles located on either side of the armrest. Unfolding the Stroller Do not allow children near stroller while unfolding. 35 Hook 1. Position the stroller with the handle bar closest to you. 2. Release the chassis lock, located on the right side of the stroller handle. See Figure 35. 3. Lift up on the stroller handle with both hands until the frame is locked in the open position. 1. Adult assembly is required. This stroller contains small parts, which are for adult assembly only. Keep small children away while assembling the stroller. 2. Remove protective material and plastic bags and dispose of them before assembling the stroller. 3. Front stroller seat is suitable for children from 6 to 36 months when not using an infant car seat. Rear platform is suitable for children at least 2 ½ years old but LESS than 40 inches tall and no more than 45 lbs. 4. Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use. Check that the stroller or seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use. 5. To avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, ALWAYS use seat belt. After fastening buckles, adjust belts to get a snug fit around your child. 6. DO NOT use storage basket to carry children. 7. ALWAYS ensure your infant carrier is properly positioned and locked into stroller according to these instructions. 8. NEVER lift the stroller by the infant carrier handle or arm bar. 9. ALWAYS set the parking brake when placing child in or removing child from seating unit. 10. Open stroller away from the child before use. WARNING 11. DO NOT use the stroller when the road is not smooth. DO NOT keep stroller near hot surfaces or other similar dangerous places. Page 19

WARNING 12. NEVER leave child unattended while in the stroller. DO NOT allow child to crawl out under or over the child tray or stand in the stroller. 13. DO NOT lift stroller with child inside. 14. The backrest should be adjusted by the adult. 15. Any accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used. 16. To prevent a hazardous, unstable condition, DO NOT hang or place items on the stroller handle, canopy, or frame. 17. This product is not suitable for running, skating, or other similar activities. 18. ALWAYS use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt. 19. Follow the washing instructions on the seat pad. 20. Use of the stroller with a child in the front seat weighing more than 40 lbs (18kg) and a child in the rear weighing more than 45 lbs (20.4 kg) could be unsafe. 21. To prevent a hazardous, unstable condition, DO NOT place more than 1.7lbs (0.8kg) in the parent tray or child tray,do not place more than 11 lbs(5kg) in the storage basket. 22.
