At the end of this course each student will be assessed on their progress and receive a certificate if they meet the aim of the course goals. In order to accomplish this aim, the course will cover: writing to various audiences and for various purposes; writing investigative reports, specifically employee relations and incident reports; observational, assessment, descriptive, and argumentative writing; drafting, designing, revising, and editing writing; writing collaboratively (e.g., co-authorship, peer editing); formatting, grammar, and organization.
