Remove the Baskets, loosen the thumbwheels and remove the clear plastic divider. Attach the iq 16 Sync Charge Box (iq 16 SCB) by hanging it on the screws located at the rear of each drawer using the two key-holes on the back of the iq 16 SCB.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL STEP 2 - Installing USB Cables. The cable management bracket must be removed. To remove, unscrew 3 screws. Run the USB cable along the bracket from the 16SCB. Insert the connector through the bottom hole and slide the cable to the top hole. Pull out your desired length of cable. 1 2 3 Attach the plastic cable strain-relief bush. Push the cable strain-relief bush into the hole repeat for each cable (gather excess cable in bracket). Arrange the cables along the bracket and through the grommet hole. Ensure the cables are not pinched or crushed and attach the bracket by inserting the 3 screws from that were removed at the beginning of STEP 2. Replace the perspex divider. Follow the instructions for setting up and operating the 16SCB (provided separately).
iq 32 Cart STEP 3 - Operating the digital lock. A. How to set your own code: The lock in the drawer is received unlocked. Lock first by pressing the centre button twice. Press centre button, enter 1 2 3 4 then press centre button again (lock will open). Immediately enter your new 4 digit code, press center button, enter new 4 digit code again, press centre button, the light on the right will flash green. These steps should be done immediately (within 2 seconds). The new 4 digit code is set. Centre button Red light Green light B. To lock the drawers: Press the centre button twice, the green light flashes once, the drawer is locked. Or Press centre button, enter 4 digit code, press centre button, the green light flashes once, the drawer is locked. C. To open the drawers: Press centre button, enter 4 digit code, press centre button, the green light flashes once, the drawer is open. D. To change user code: Press centre button, enter existing code, press centre button, to lock the drawer. Press centre button, enter existing code, press centre button, to open the drawer. Immediately enter new 4 digit code, press centre button, enter new 4 digit code again, press centre button, the green light flashes once. These steps should be done immediately (within 2 seconds). The code is now changed. E. If you forget your user code: Press centre button, place emergency entry card on the lock, the green light flashes once, and the drawer automatically opens. This lock is now reset to factory setting (default code 1 2 3 4). Return to step A.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL F. When battery charge is low: The lock emits a warning alarm. Unbolt the lock body inside the drawer, undo the battery cover screws. Replace 4X AA batteries, use high quality batteries for long lock life. Replace the lock body. Test operation. G. If batteries are fully discharged and lock will not work. Insert 4 x fresh AA batteries in Emergency battery pack. Attach Emergency battery pack using DC connector to the DC socket on the side of the keypad. Enter user code or use Emergency entry card. Emergency Battery Pack DC Socket STEP 4. Refit the 8-bay device baskets into the 2 drawers in the trolley. Insert your devices into the baskets with the charge socket pointing towards the USB charge lead. (Example: vertical for ipad; horizontal for Galaxy Tab). STEP 5. Ensure that the power is switched OFF at the wall socket. Unwind the 3m power cable and attach the plug into the wall socket, then switch on the power.
iq 32 Cart STEP 6 - Install the Security Chain Kit. Tools required: Masonry hammer-drill 10mm masonry drill bit Pencil and ruler/tape Hammer 13mm and 17mm spanners The Security Chain Kit contains the following: 1 x 3 holed Anchor Plate and security chain 3 x 55mm long, 8mm Anchor Bolts 3 x Shear Nuts and washers 1 x RR Lock and key set Move the Trolley to where you intend to store and secure it. It is best if the Floor Plate is as close as possible to a wall to reduce the hazard of tripping and injury. Attach the end of the chain to the steel loop with the padlock and position the plate end in the desired position on the floor. NOTE: If mounting on carpet you will need to cut out the carpet from the area where the floor plate attaches, otherwise the carpet will wrap around the drill when drilling. Mark the centre of each of the 3 holes, using the floor plate as a guide. Drill a 10mm hole through each of the 3 marked centres to a depth of 50mm. Insert the anchor bolts with nut attached into the holes through the floor plate. Using the 13 mm spanner, progressively tighten down each of these anchor nuts so that all three bolts are firmly anchored into the concrete. Now undo each of the three nuts, and in their place thread on the three silver shear-nuts. Ensure that the cone is down and the hexagonal nut is up. Using the 17mm spanner tighten down the three shear nuts until the hexagonal head shears off, leaving just the cone base. Attach the security chain through the steel loop under the side of the trolley using the RR padlock.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL Troubleshooting. 1. If no lights are illuminated with the iq 16 Sync Charge Box (iq 16 SCB) is switched ON, check that the power cable is fully inserted into the iq 16 SCB socket and the other end is fully inserted into the mains power socket and the switch is ON. 2. If it has been confirmed power is available, check the fuse in the power socket on the iq 16 SCB. First switch off power on the mains socket and remove the power plug. Remove the power cable from the socket in the iq 16 SCB and slide out the fuse drawer. Confirm the fuse is intact. If not an original spare fuse is retained in the same slide out drawer. Only replace with an equivalent part: 5x20mm, 4A fast blow. 3. To check the iq 16 SCB is operating correctly, switch the iq 16 SCB OFF. Remove all connected USB cables and switch back ON again. Both the Charge light and the Sync light should momentarily illuminate. The Charge light will flash a number of times before remaining on. This is normal operation. 4. If the iq 16 SCB is operating normally but the devices cannot be charged, check the USB cables connecting to the devices are of the correct type and quality and not damaged. 5. If the iq 16 SCB is operating normally but the devices cannot be synchronised, check the USB cables connecting to the devices are of the correct type and quality and not damaged. 6. Any other issues relating to synchronisation problems should be referred to your IT department or provider of synchronisation software. WARRANTY During the specified Warranty Period should your Lock n Charge product fail under normal and reasonable use, Lock n Charge Technologies will repair or replace the product, at its cost and option subject to the conditions and limitations detailed on our Warranty Statement. The Warranty Period will be a minimum of 12 months from date of purchase, however, it may be longer depending on the product or part that has failed. Please refer to the Warranty Statement on our website for full terms and conditions and for the Warranty Period applicable to this product. In the event that a defect, malfunction or failure occurs or is discovered during the warranty period, LocknCharge will repair or replace, at its option, the products which in the reasonable judgment of LocknCharge are deemed defective. Replacement products or parts used may be new or refurbished and may show signs of use but be otherwise fully serviceable and covered by the remainder of the Warranty Period. All transportation costs shall be borne by the owner and the risk of loss shall be upon the party initiating the transportation. The warranty does not apply to any product that has been subject to misuse, tampering, neglect, or accident or as a result of unauthorized alterations or repairs to the product. The warranty is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose which are expressly excluded or disclaimed. In no event will LocknCharge, their directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any harm, consequential, incidental, third party, special or indirect damages whatsoever arising out of the use or inability to use the products even if LocknCharge has been advised of the possibility of such damages. LocknCharge obligation is strictly and exclusively limited to the replacement or repair of any defective products. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Do not store in direct sunlight.
