*Handle with care to avoid damaging waterproof case caused by drooping or physical shock. *Please clean with clear water as quickly as possible after using and dry out to avoid rusting. 4. Power on/power off Position the device in the vehicle using the suction mount and turn the Power Switch to ON, the system comes into standby. After the red indicator is bright constantly, the corresponding icons on LCD segment screen will be lightened to enter normal preview state. To power off the device turn the Power Switch to OFF. You can also connect the device to the car charger. 5. Charging Using the USB cable: Connect the device to the USB port of a computer, the device will immediately start charging. Using the car changer: Connect the device to the car charger. The device will start charging after the car engine is turned on. Using the adapter: Connect the device to the adapter, the device will immediately start charging. Normally it takes approximately 2-3 hours to fully charge the device. Operating the device while charging with the AC adapter may extend the time of full charge. Note: Before using the device for the first time, please, provided to fully charge the Li-ion battery. The battery is completely charged in 2-3 hours. 6. Inserting the Micro SD-card Before starting video recording, please, insert a Micro SD card into the Micro SD card slot in the device. To extract the Micro SD card slightly push it inside the device, and remove. Note: If no Micro SD card is inserted, you will find the Micro SD card icon on the TFT screen. Roadrunner 700X EN - 3

7. Recording Press the Record button to start recording, Green Indicator and Red indicator II will flash. The recorded files are saved on Micro SD Card. To stop recording, press Record button again. The light will turn off. 8. Taking pictures Press the Shutter button to take a photo. Red indicator II will flash once. Taken are saved on Micro SD Card. Home screen 9. Settings 10. Video Menu settings Turn on the device and system comes into standby. Press Menu button to enter Settings. Press the up/down button to select the option and press left/right button to set the selection. The following options list is available in the Video menu: Resolution: Select the video image size from 1080P (1982 x 1080) / 720P (1080 x 720) / WVGA (800 x 480) / QVGA (320 x 240). Laser sync: Select to switch the laser pointer on to indicate the target. Capture Mode: Select the video recording mode or voice recording mode. Loop Record: Once there is no more free space left on the SD card the device will automatically erase the oldest files on the card and continue recording new ones. Select one of the values to set the video duration. Shot Timer:Select one of the values to set the video duration. 11. Picture Menu settings Press Menu button to enter Settings and press right button to enter picture mode setting, press up/down button to select the option and press it left/right to set the selection. The following options list is available in the Picture menu: Single Shot: Select to set normal shooting mode. Treble Shot: Select to set continuously shoot three pictures. Continuous: Select the continuous shooting interval time from 0s / 2s / 3s / 5s / 10s / 20s / 30s / 60s. Selftimer: Select the time to use the timer when taking pictures. Resolution: Select the picture image size from 3M (2048 X 1536) / 5M (2560 X 1920) / 8M (3200 X 2400) 12. General settings Press Menu button to enter Settings. Press the right to select Settings. The following settings are available: Roadrunner 700X EN - 5

Beep: Select sound on / off Time Display: Select to display the time or not on the video clip or pictures. Auto Standby: Select the time of automatic standby when the device is not in use. Note: When the device enter standby mode, press Record / Shutter button for 2 seconds to wake up the device. TV standard: Select the AV output from NTSC / PAL. Format: Select to format the SD card. Important note: Once you select YES and press the navigation button the card will be formatted without warning. All data on it will be erased. Default: Select to restore default system settings. Language: Select the desired language from the list. Frequency: Change frequency to remove the blinking effect when recording under artificial lighting. Date / Time: Install the current date and time Version: Displays the current system version. 13. Playback mode To enter playback mode press Recall button. Record: Stored the video file. Capture: Stored the picture file. The last video / picture file will be displayed. Press OK button to view the file, press it right or left to view other recorded files. To enter menu options press Menu button. The following settings are available: Delete one: Delete the current file. Delete all: Delete all audio and video files under no protection Protect: Protect the current file. Note: will appear on the upper left corner of the protected file; Repeat this operation to unprotect the protected files; no operation can delete the protected files except formatting. Auto play: Select to display the files in slide show 14. USB connection To download registered files on your PC/notebook, please, connect the device to the PC or notebook via USB-cable provided. After connecting the device to the PC, the device will appear in My computer as the EN 6 Roadrunner 700X

removable disk. All registered files are stored in DCIM folder, videos are stored in MOV format, and the pictures are stored in JPG format. You can now download the files from the device. 15. Playback on TV To playback the recorded files on TV, connect the device to your TV with the AV or HDMI cable provided and follow the TV instructions or refer to your TV user manual. Notes: Please insert the Micro SD card before recording. Micro SD card is included in the package. When the Micro SD card is out of memory, it will automatically erase the oldest files and start recording from the beginning (only if the Recycle option is activated). Safety precautions Please observe all safety precautions before using Prestigio Roadrunner 700X. Please follow all procedures outlined in this manual to correctly operate the device. Do not attempt to disassemble or alter any part of the device that is not described in this guide. Do not place the device in contact with water or any other liquids. The device is NOT designed to be liquid proof of any sort. In the event of liquid entry into interior of device, immediately disconnect the device from the computer. Continuing use of the device may result in fire or electrical shock. Please consult your product distributor or the closest support center. To avoid risk of electrical shock, do not connect or disconnect the device with wet hands. Do not place the device near a heat source or directly expose it to flame or heat. Never place the device in vicinity of equipments generating strong electromagnetic fields. Exposure to strong magnetic fields may cause malfunctions or data corruption and loss.
