Dear Family and Friends, It s been awhile since the last newsletter in Dec. Several major Changes have taken place, a major one being that we have received approval to reside in Australia. The residency status permits us to come on as staff at the Karobran New Life Centre in Naracoorte, South Australia. This is a Christian based Alcohol and Drug Rehab which I have been involved with since 1995. Philip and I will live on the premises with the students. A house on the farm in Karobran is being worked on and it will be our home for the next 2-5 years. The ministry will continue and I will still travel but not as extensively as I have been doing since 2001. It will be a challenging time but we also know that it will be very fulfilling to serve the Directors to serve the students. Another major change is that Philip has started to preach, and has shared the Word on several Sunday services at Karobran. I am also thrilled to announce that my youngest daughter Tandy will be getting married this year in Sept. I am just so grateful to the LORD for bringing a wonderful man into her life. I can t wait till Sept comes round. We ve had many memorable times and want to share that in our travels we are coming across many people and ministries that are making an impact and extending GOD s Kingdom in the marketplace. We see it in Australia, New Zealand and very much so in Singapore. Change don t resist it, embrace it. There are Challenges when it comes to Change, but there are also the Blessings that accompany Change. We deeply appreciate your prayers and support, and hope to hear from you. In HIS Love, Glenda & Philip Be like the Bereans and be receptive to receive the Word and also to search the Word with a diligence to see if what you hear is so.
Forgiveness Restoration Ministries International, Inc. Singapore We had an amazing time in Singapore ministering together again with good friend Andrew Greeff from Harvest Christian Church, our home church, in Port Elizabeth South Africa. There were many special moments and this is one of them as we combined to do a Gospel Concert for APAC Ministries at the Raffles Hotel. People from many denominations including leaders and pastors came together in ONE Accord that evening as we exalted and praised the KING of KINGs, the Creator of the Heavens and the Universe. Lunchtime marketplace meeting for the Rose of Sharon Fellowship. Marketplace ministry is truly alive in Singapore Another lunchtime meeting -- sharing and ministering with Andrew at the Metropolitan YMCA in Singapore. With Baby Goh and Jane who head APAC Ministries in Singapore and Jacqueline and Jeff who hosted Andrew. Sharing the Word at the Upper Room Fellowship in Singapore.
Forgiveness Restoration Ministries International, Inc. Few more photos of ministry in Singapore Here I am speaking at a Worship Retreat for the Barker Road Methodist Church Upper Room Service. Our Heart is an important instrument of Worship Ministering Sunday service for the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, an Anglican church in Singapore. We also ministered for the Living Hope Methodist Church. It is truly a privilege, honour and a blessing to be able to share the Word across denominations. New Zealand A New Door New doors opening. Ministering for the first time in New Zealand. Sharing with the ladies from the ELIM Church in Auckland. We also ministered for the Doxa Deo Church in Auckland. We have been asked to return to minister in NZ and will do so later this year, in Dec. With old friends Walter and Bev Stone who opened doors to NZ. We had lots of laughs and thoroughly enjoyed our time with them.
Australia A notable first for me was being the speaker at a Men s camp for World Harvest Christian Church. Above -- ministering for Hope Church in Adelaide. We returned to Roxby Downs, a small mining town in the Outback. I have never seen two people laugh as much as when Ps Keith Moody and Philip get together. It was a wonderful time of ministry including a community outreach. I ministered for the Rock International Church in Sydney for Lilian and Richard Tng, who were from Singapore but have settled in Australia. Lilian is working with APAC ministries to hold a Women s Wellness Conference in Singapore in Nov, and they have asked me to speak at the Conf. Philip and I were blessed to be able to spend time in Streaky Bay in South Australia. Steve Birrell and his wife Shelley invited us and our dear friends Tony and Maxine Marrone to have a time of rest on their farm house. It was an absolutely great time and we were ministered to. We all enjoyed the sunsets, bon fires, Steve s gourmet cooking and roasted chestnuts. House in Karobran where we will live from Sept, is being worked on presently. With Shelley and Maxine. We all came away from the trip refreshed. It must have been the food, the laughs, the fellowship but most of all just soaking in the beauty of GOD s handy work. The views were stunning and the night sky simply amazing and breathtaking. Shelley & Steve, and Tony and Maxine are helping to organize a Women s Wellness Day in Adelaide. Proceeds will go toward revamping the kitchen in the Karobran New Life Centre -- Drug & Alcohol Rehab.
South Africa We did minister but decided to spend most of our time with Family. The Family is the 1 st Church It is always a special time to be ministering in our home church, Harvest Christian Church in Port Elizabeth. We ve always received wise counsel from Pastor John Scholtz and the elders and leaders and never left for our travels without their prayers and counsel. With Kimberley Douglas, a friend from Australia, after we both had just shared the Word at the St Albans Men s Prison in Port Elizabeth. With my 3 eldest children Alton, Garth and Leigh. Because of all our travels and living in different countries, this was the first time we have been together in 14 years! It was a very blessed time. A real privilege dedicating my grandson Ethan to the LORD. With all 3 grandchildren. Thank you JESUS, Thank you. I am a Skype Grandmother here I am chatting with granddaughter Montana.
