2 US Parish Concert Info Pack WHO IS CAT.CHAT? Cat.Chat is a family based ministry from Saskatchewan, Canada, which consists of The Cat.Chat Man (Gerald Montpetit in yellow), his wife Denise (in Blue), their 5 kids (in red) plus the fun and exciting, Moses the Cat. The Cat.Chat family and Moses have performed over 300 concerts in the last 6 years. Audiences have been "Wowed" by The Cat.Chat family s unique blend of ministry and entertainment. They have also filmed a TV series for kids, which consists of 8 episodes that will be aired on EWTN in the spring of WHAT IS A CAT.CHAT CONCERT? All Cat.Chat concerts are specifically geared for young families with kids (prek- grade 6). The songs are dynamic and packed with God s Word and Catholic teachings that bring children into a refreshing experience of Catholicism. The concert is filled with powerful music, crowd participation, unicycling, juggling, yo-yos, prizes, good humor, prayer times and family fun. After the concert, the Cat.Chat family and Moses the Cat stick around to take photos, sign autographs and chat with the families. This year s concert theme is: Knowing Jesus: The Ultimate One! 3 PRICING & TICKET INFO % of the ticket sales go directly to your parish to help cover the cost of putting on the concert. Please call for concert fee. Promotion: We provide you with a customized concert promo pack so that this event will be EASY to promote. It includes full color posters, tickets & spreadsheet, a master flyer (for bulletin inserts & school newsletters) and a scripted church announcement. BONUS: We will also provide you with 15 FREE Cat.Chat CDs to give away to the first 15 families who purchase a family ticket in advance. Tickets are generally $25/family, $7/person in advance and $35/family, $10/person at the door/ children 2 & under-free admission. We ask that one meal (for 8 Cat.Chat team members) be provided on the day of the concert event. ONE KEY PERSON We simply need one key person who will facilitate promotions, involve others to sell tickets and help generate much enthusiasm about the concert in the parish & community. We have found that the most successful turnouts are the concerts where the priest enthusiastically endorses the event and when there is an enthusiastic team of people (for ex. A mother's group, youth group, CWL or K of C) getting the word out. Word of mouth and personal invitation is certainly a very effective way to help generate ticket sales. CONCERT Details... Sound/Lighting/Multi-Media: Provided by Cat.Chat Productions. Personnel: IMPORTANT - Please have parents available to monitor the children before, during and after the concert. Length of Concert: Generally, the concert will last approx. 1 hour and 30 min. with a half hour to an hour after the concert for pictures and autographs with Moses and the Cat.Chat family. Stage/ or Floor Space Requirements: Please provide a stage area that is a min. 20' wide and 16' deep. (24 wide X 20 deep preferred) If this is not possible, please call us with the details and we will accommodate as best as we can.

4 Product Sales: Please provide two 8 tables and allow parents an opportunity to browse and purchase any Cat.Chat resources that will be available after the concert. It is recommended to serve juice and snacks after the concert as it helps create a great atmosphere for visiting and fellowship. Payment: Payment must be made in full to "Cat.Chat Productions" on the day of the concert. Cancellation procedure: In the event of a concert booking cancellation by the parish within 14 days of the concert, a payment of 30% of the agreed expense fees must still be paid to CatChat Productions. Though it is never our intention to cancel an event, Cat.Chat reserves the right to cancel a concert for reasons of extreme sickness or "Acts of God" or severe weather conditions. A re-schedule date could be arranged with both concert coordinator and Cat.Chat Productions.
