Rotary Actuator he actuator is controlled by a modulating or MP-Bus system and move the ball of the EPIV, the throttling element, to the opening position dictated by the control signal. Product features Equal-percentage characteristic Equal-percentage characteristic of the flow ensured by the integrated characterising disk, and algorithm inside actuator Constant flow volume V. Constant flow volume V. with various differential pressure up to 340kPa, thanks to the electronic flow sensor. A valve authority of 1 is attained, regardless of differential pressure variations across the valve. Even in the part-load range, the flow rate remains constant, and valve needs to compensate the dp. SR-PI..Rotary Actuators Safety notes! he actuator has been designed for use in stationary heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and is not allowed to be used outside the specified field of application, especially in aircraft or in any other airborne means of transport. It may only be installed by suitably trained personnel. All applicable legal or institutional installation regulations must be complied with. he device may only be opened at the manufacturer s site. It does not contain any parts that can be replaced or repaired by the user. he cable is not allowed to be removed from the unit. he device contains electrical and electronic components and is not allowed to be disposed of as household refuse. he local and currently valid regulations and requirements must be observed. Product features Mode of operation Conventional operation: he actuator is controlled with a standard modulating signal of DC 0...10V and travels to the position defined by the control signal. Measuring voltage serves for the electrical display of the flow. Operation on the MP-Bus: he actuator receives its digital positioning signal from the higher level controller via the MP-Bus and travels to the flow defined. Connection serves as communication interface and does not supply an analogue measuring voltage. Converter for sensors Parameterisable actuators Manual override High functional reliability Connection option for a sensor (active sensor or switching contact). he MP actuator serves as an analog/digital converter for the transmission of the sensor signal via MP-Bus to the higher level system. he factory settings cover the most common applications. Input and output signals and other parameters can be altered with the MF-H parameterising device or the BELIMO Service ool, MF-P. Manual adjustment possible with pushbutton - temporary, permanent.he gear is disengaged and the actuator decoupled for as long as the button is pressed / latched. he actuator is overload-proof, requires no limit switches and automatically stops when the end stop is reached.
