In September, UNCF visited with Shaw University in its efforts to continue to build a strong relationship with it s partner schools. UNCF s Program Administrators of the Virginia Office, Girmu Habte and Lottie Evans took the time to personally meet with the university s Scholarship Coordinator and selected Shaw University UNCF scholarship recipients. Their meeting concluded with an open discussion over muffins, pastries and juice as Shaw UNCF scholars, Devon Allen, Maurice Young and Marquita Randolph were given the opportunity to ask questions on how to maximize their chances of receiving scholarships.
