I applied for a Higher Apprenticeship because I already knew that I wanted a career in accountancy. The scheme was perfect for me, as I was able to earn and learn at the same time! I don t feel that I ve missed out by not going to university, as I ve gained so much practical knowledge and valuable skills which can t be learnt from a text book. I would never have got this much experience so early on in my career without doing a Higher Apprenticeship! Simone Masterson, Audit Semi Senior, Manchester
