The work is on acoustic correlates of rhythm in the speech signal and is mainly based on the construction of a copus (BonnTempo-Corpus; see publications) comprising speech from different languages at different speech rates. The results of rhythmical changes according to speech rate are currently being evaluated in perception tests. PhD is expected to be finished early 2005.
