What secure mobile email needs to look like today Mobile access to email is taken for granted as a core element of business mobility as it should be. But all too often, the way companies meet this requirement can compromise enterprise security and fail to help people become optimally productive. One common approach centers on the native email app on mobile devices as the easiest option for enterprise IT departments to provide employees with access to their email. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, already deployed in most environments, allows mobile device users to easily synchronize their native email apps with Microsoft Outlook or IBM Lotus Notes corporate email on their own, without the need for IT assistance.
