The participants of the Land of Imagination training course are experienced youth workers, who represent organizations from all over Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey, Romania, Italy and Hungary. The main topic of our meeting are the possibilities of implementation an innovatory method in an informal education which is called LARP (Live Action Role Playing Game). The purpose of a training course is to pass on the knowledge how to use LARPs in work with the youth, how to create an international project based on this method and how to connect other methods of an informal education with LARPs effectively. The methods of working were selected as a result of our experience from the projects we have run previously. These methods have evolved from theatre games, which were conducted during the last few years as a part of Action 1.1 in Poland and abroad including thematic workshop (pedagogy of theatre, pedagogy of experience, language animation, LARP, fire show, LARP handouts, theatre make-up, scenography), the layout- what s LARP, Youth in Action, YouthPass), Discussion, Trip, City Game, Flash Mob, Happening. The project will result in better and more intensive cooperation with other organizations, which have already started coworking with us by promoting LARPs in Europe ( Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania). Our aim is also to build and strengthen cooperation with the other partners in this area. According to that, we will spread the actions our organization started three years ago as a part of Action 1.1 projects. By taking part in this project, the organizations will improve their tool potential in working with the youth due to a innovatory method. Moreover, the training course will effect in higher quality level of the projects. The youth connected with our partner organizations will be trained and will join the team of our website created during the Action 1.1 project (Imaginaryrealms.org) and will prepare their own projects based on LARPs.

Our project starts on July 1 st that means we are not able to spend the programme budget before this date. Please remember about this when buying the tickets, as we will not be able to refund any travel expenses with tickets bought before the 1 st of July. Please, send us info about your arrival, departure and the names of the participants as soon as you will buy the tickets. The participants are provided with 70% reimbursement of the travel expenses (but no more than the amount from file 1B), on the basis of the documents stating the costs - meaning boarding cards, electronic tickets (in the case of lack of the cost on the electronic ticket please bring another document with the price stated), train tickets (2 nd class, with the price stated), bus tickets (with the price stated). Please send the returning tickets (original, not copies) within 2 weeks after the meeting (until September 26 th 2011). If you will have invoice for the transport, remember that you should have details of YOUR organisation on it. Please send us info about your eating habits till August 25 th 2011. If we will not get this info till that time, we will have some problems to prepare suitable food for you. The language of communication during the programme is English. The topic and the programme sessions require from the participants to know English on a communicative level. We would like to highlight this rule, as during past projects we had several participants that were not able to communicate in English, and thus were not able to actively participate. You will be accommodated in our youth house near Lublin in international rooms (3-4 participants in one). Please confirm your participation till the end of june and that you understand all information in this infopack.

Arrival: 05 th September before 15.00 (to Fryderyk Chopin s Airport in Warsaw) Departure: 12 th of September (in the morning) After buying the tickets, please inform us about the timing details we will book a mini-bus to pick you up from the airport and bring you to Motycz Leśny (It s 3 hours from Warsaw s airport), It will make your trip to our Youth House more comfortable. Our organisation will send someone to accompany you on the way. Here you can check how our typical LARP project looks: IMAGINARYREALMS.ORG Hope to see you soon!
