School sites Morning theoretical lessons : 9-12:30 Palazzo Natta - Hall Nobile + Monday afternoon, in the historical center of Como. Afternoon computer exercise sessions were held in the center site of Via Castelnuovo 7 - Room 3.4. The computer room is provided with 40 new computers working with O.S. WinXP S.P.3, on which Fortran compilers and Phyton interface have been installed to use fortran programs usually run under Unix systems. Distributed components Students have been given Lecture Notes, with some upgrading as addendum, IGeS CD with sw and data for exercises, the GRAVSOFT manual, and users guide for FFT exercises. Moreover a final CD has been given with all the lectures presented during the week. Each student received a participation certificate. Feedback questionnaire A questionnaire (taken from the Brasil School edition) has been filled up by all the students, in anonymous form. Synthesis of answers are as follows (mark range from 1-very poor, to 5-very good) : Overall School evaluation 5 11 Length of the school Scientific level Quality of Lecture Notes Quality of Teachers/lectures 5 10 4 8 3 2 2 1 5 20 4 1 5 9 4 10 3 1 5 16 4 5

Quality of computer exercises. 5 3 4 12 3 6 Most of the added comments were positive remarks, with some request or suggestion for the next editions: - to distribute in advance (via e-mail, or through the website) notes, lectures, exercise guides, to allow people to be prepared - to give more time for practical exercises, that should be more explained. - to increase the preliminary communications, both on the detailed program and on participants to give better possibilities of organize and get in touch with other students There is also a request of an Advanced Geoid School, and one request of expanding the school over two weeks, because it is too concentrated.
