/PAYMENT OPTIONS 1.-Ticket: Only works on the Metro. When traveling by Metro, you need to buy a ticket before entering the Metro system. This ticket only works as long as you do not get off the system. You can do as many transfers as you need with only one ticket. You do not need to hold the ticket with you after you have entered the system. 2.-Bip card: It works on both the Metro and the Buses. If you are staying for a long time in Santiago, it is convenient to buy a Bip card so you do not have to buy a new ticket every time you get into the public transportation system.
