ShipMail Connect 1. About ShipMail Connect software : Shipmail Connect works as a vessel e-mail server queuing all mail on the mail administrators pc for transfer of data to/from the World-Link access server via Inmarsat. Shipmail Connect may be set up for multiple users onboard the vessel, allowing for full crew email messaging. By providing POP / SMTP services on the Mail Administrators PC, Shipmail Connect can interact with virtually any e-mail client software. The vessel user needs only to set up a simple Internet e- mail connection in their mail client which sends/receives the messages via localhost to the Shipmail Connect server. Once there, Shipmail Connect can be set to automatically transmit messages or the master can have the option of issuing manual transmissions. Please note that before attempting installation that you will need to set up service with World-Link and obtain your Vessel Username, Password and E-Mail address. 2.
