Projects Academic projects 2009 2013 European Project FP7-ICT-2009-C: Mobility, data mining, and privacy [MODAP: http://modap.org/]. The project is of type Coordination Action. Role: Principal Investigator. The research activity in the project is mainly related to location privacy in LBS and to the analysis of location privacy-aware standards 2009 2013 European Network COST Action IC0903: Knowledge Discovery from Moving Objects [MOVE: http://www.move-cost.info/]. Role: Management Committee member and co-national representative. Research and networking focused on trajectory data representation. 2005 2008 European Project FP6-IST-014915: Geographic Knowledge Discovery and Delivery [GeoPKDD: http://www.geopkdd.eu/]. The project is of Strep type. Role: Principal Investigator for the University in the sub-contract with EPFL, partner of the project. Research regards the study of conceptual data models for the representation of the movement. Role: Project Manager of the Consortium (Coordinator: Elda Ingegneria Spa). The study concerns geographical information services on Web 1994-1996 Projects funded by Elda Ingegneria Spa. The activity concerns the design and development of two prototypical software systems: the first system is to automate the management of the Road Cadaster (the solution is presented at a major fair, SMAU 1995); the second system is to enable the linear georeferencing on the road network of GPS data, including images, video, voice annotations acquired by a dedicated vehicle 3
