Arrange pictures with layers Under layers, photos can be controlled to decide which are on top and which are on bottom If needed, resize the order the pictures on the slide Hold SHIFT while selecting each photo to select all photos at the same time To adjust height of selected pictures at the same time, go to Picture Tools tab Format tab Size group enter the amount of height in the box press ENTER If needed, apply Picture Styles under Picture Tools Format tab Arrange the order of picture layers on the slide Lasted Edited: 2012-07-09 7

Work with Shapes Shapes are any objects, such as an arrow, circle or a rectangular, used for annotation, or building a diagram. Quick tips Use the Zoom slider to easily format the shapes When clicking on some shapes, there are yellow diamonds beside the resize handles. Those yellow diamonds control the focal point of the shapes Use the Format Painter feature to make formatting settings of shapes consistent throughout the presentation Work with text box Text box is a rectangular shape with no background and no outline, for example the placeholder on the slides. Insert photo into the SmartArt If the SmartArt Layout provides boxes to add a photo in the diagram, do the following: Click on the Photo icons to locate the photo to insert in it If needed, use crop picture feature to make the photos fit in the diagram Animate text, shapes, and other objects Animating slides can make a presentation more attractive as well as professional because it is a great tool to explain a complex slide or just slowly reveal information to the audiences.
