If the equipment is use when the scale is unstable, because not all feet are on the surface, there may be a risk of injury or inaccurate measurement. Measurement may be inaccurate when the scale is place on a thick-pile rug or carpet. Never jump on the scale, there may be a risk of injury an malfunction of the equipment. Do not hang on the hanrail. The equipment must be use with the inclue AC aapter only. Do not insert or remove the AC plug by the cable. Do not place a finger into any gap or any hole of the equipment. You may be injure. Please use caution when ajusting the height ro to prevent injury. Please return the height ro to the storage position after completion of measurement. Please o not touch or lean on the height ro or the isplay uring weighing as this will reuce accuracy. Maintenance This is a precision manufacture an accurately calibrate prouct. Please observe the following instructions. If the equipment is move to a place with a temperature ifference of 18 F/10 C or more, leave if for at least two (2) hours before use. Avoi subjecting the equipment to excessive shocks or vibrations. Never isassemble or ajust the equipment, as this may cause malfunctions. When not in use for an extene time, unplug the AC aapter from the outlet. Do not wipe the equipment with corrosive chemicals (benzene, acetone, etc.). Please use a neutral etergent to clean the equipment. Do not use cellular phones or microwave therapy equipment near this equipment. It may not measure correctly ue to equipment malfunction. When isposing of this equipment, please o so in accorance with the prevailing regulations in your country, state an city. 5. Assembly Instructions 1. List of Components 2. Assembly Base (fully assemble an pre-wire to isplay assembly) Cable (Base sie) Lower Pillar Assembly Screw Cable (Top Hea Display Assembly Sie) Top Hea Display Assembly (fully assemble an pre-wire to base) Back Cover 1) Install the Lower Pillar Assembly into the Base using the four (4) Screws while carefully avoiing pinching the cable. *Tighten the screws completely. 2) Assemble the Top Hea Display into the Lower Pillar assembly while carefully inserting the cable into Lower Pillar assembly an extening it the full length of the Lower Pillar. 3) Connect the Cable from the bottom of the lower pillar assembly to the cable on the base. Front Cover Top Height Ro Assembly (fully assemble with pivoting height measuring lever) 4) Place the Hanrail on the Base. Height Ro Arm Lower Height Ro Assembly Hanrail Brace 5) Insert the tabs of the brace into the slot. Putting your weight on the hanrail to ajust its position will facilitate insertion of the brace into the slot. Slie the brace completely to the en (Position mark). 6) Clamp the hanrail to the brace using the four screws. *Tighten the screws completely. 4 5

Assembly Instructions (continue) 10) Insert the Hight Ro Assembly into the Pillar. 7) Place the Front Cover over the screws an fix it by inserting its pins into the holes. *Be careful not to pinch the cable while performing this operation. 8) Insert the Back Cover. Note: Place the scale on a har, flat surface where these is minimal vibration to ensure safe an accurate measurement. If use on an uneven surface, feet may be ajuste to ensure a level an stable platform. * Feet ajustment shoul be performe by two persons or more. Note: To move the scale, hol the Top Hea Display to pivot the scale on its wheels an move it tilte. 9) Connect the top Height Ro Assembly an Lower Height Ro Assembly together. Connect both pillars completely. Using the floor, push straight own on the upper pillar into the lower pillar. IF unable to connect, go to step 2. 6. Operation by AC aapter AC aapter is much preferable when the scale will be use continuously. 1) Insert the AC aapter jack into the AC aapter inlet on the back sie of isplay. 2) Plug the AC aapter into the outlet. WARNING In orer to reuce the risk of electric shock, never insert or remove the power coe with wet hans. CAUTION This equipment must be use with the inclue AC aapter only. 7. Operation by batteries CAUTION Do not grip the sliing height bar while pushing own on the upper pillar. Do not use a slippery floor surface. Note: If the weight is less than 22lb/10kg, the Step-On function will not work. 2) After all the segments flash, [0.0lb/0.0kg] is isplaye. Perform measurement after having presse the key an turne off the Step on Function. 4) The weight will be locke-in an isplaye on the isplay. (Hol) sign will appear in the upper left corner of the isplay. When the scale is connecte to an external evice, weight ata will be exporte at this time. 5) The scale will automatically shut off in 30 secons. Note: Do not press the key while staning on the scale, as accurate measurement will not be possible. 2. BMI Weighing 1) Turn on the power by pressing the key. 4. Changing Measurement Units This function is use to change the measurement units on the isplay. e.g. When change the unit lb to kg. Press the key. The measure shifts from lb to kg an the measurement units change. 2) After all the segments flash, [0.0lb/0.0kg] is isplaye. (or ) 3) The person to be weighe shoul still in the mile of the platform. 4) The weight will be locke-in an isplaye on the isplay.
