Young extreme games fans are also attracted to the thrill, danger and speed involved in Skeleton and Bobsleigh. Admirers of auto sports have grown to appreciate Bobsleigh and Skeleton and viewership has increased greatly in the USA and Canada during the NASCAR off season. This is reflected in the increased coverage of the sports on the SPEED Channel in the USA and Canada, as well as extensive national and international coverage through other media outlets. The international federation for our sports (FIBT) differs from other international sport federations because it owns its worldwide broadcast rights and produces its own programming. This becomes a significant advantage to potential partners of Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton because the television production is high quality, has impressive viewer numbers, and is promoted annually. Our organization is given the option to purchase our own television airtime and broadcast our events. The sliding sports are well known and loved across all of Canada. Because of the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary, our training sites in Alberta and Whistler, BC, and our history of Olympic success in the sliding sports, Canadians all across the nation feel a deep connection to our sports and athletes. A partnership with us presents ample opportunity to reach the Canadian marketplace.
